Great food! Chips and salsa are good. Food come out hot and delicious. Service isn’t bad. They keep your chips salsa and drinks filled. No complaints I’m too full for that. Stop on in and enjoy so good drinks and food!

We’ve been coming here for 15 years, which tells you it’s good stuff! But I will say for the last few years the service has gone downhill. There’s never a hostess in the front when you walk in so you just stand there for what feels like forever until someone awkwardly sits you. Then once you get sat at a table at least 10 minute wait for your server. We’ve almost walked out the last 3x! Finally get food and drinks (always great, no complaint there) but then you don’t see the server again for at least 30-45 minutes. And this particular time… ONE other table seated in the whole restaurant. 6:40 on a Monday evening. Not sure what’s going on, but disappointed because we’ve always loved this place. My husband had to go to the bar to flag someone down so we could pay our bill.

Green chili Enchiladas with a Margarita for Mother’s Day. It was semi-empty which is perfect for us because we don’t like loud spaces as a family. Food was ok, menu was simple, we liked the kids menu, and the drinks menu was fine. My rice was dry, beans were missing something, and finally the enchiladas were not spicy at all. I wish it was chicken instead of pork.

Looks can be deceiving. I went here because this is a restaurant that I went to 20 years ago and I felt like it was an iconic moment to go back. My expectations of the meal were quickly let down. The presentation on the plate was good. When we were ordering our meal our waitress would not look at me but spoke directly to my husband which was upsetting to me. The meal although presented well was not flavourful. It felt like I was eating bland food. I have to say that it will likely be another 20 years before I return. I am saddened by the service that we received from our waitress, the cost, and taste.

So disappointed! I had heard this spot was delicious and it's not. Clearly only to people who haven't tried really good Mexican food. The rice was dry and hard. I've worked at restaurants and know certain foods aren't cooked to order, but there's a way to present day old food and taste good. Their beans must of burned from the bottom in the big pot because the beans had a burnt taste. I paid about $7 for a kids meal, which included 1 pancake, juice and a packaged Apple sauce ????. They charged me about $2 for a side of the wet salsa. The only decent thing there was the tamale, oh and the chips and salsa. Other than that it was not worth the hype or price. The waitress was nice and the environment was comfortable. I however, won't be going back.

Horrible food, and they are rude. Charge you high gratuity after bad service and rude attitude. For only 5 people. Charged over 22 dollars gratuity and didnt want to give us an opportunity to do our own tip(for 5 people) Never got drinks. They just said to pay whatever they want for tip because their system adds it.

I got the shrimp tacos and I do not recommend the shrimp tasted so fishy. I immediately felt super sick after eating this. The food wasn’t even seasoned well at all and the plates were so hot just feels like they put the old food in a microwave and called it a day. Even Taco Bell is better! Not impressed for what you pay go somewhere else! Save your stomach

It is so sad that this place has continued to go downhill for the past year. I used to like this place for the food even though the service could be spotty at best. Two times we ate here durring football season and both times our server was more interested in the games then serving us. When we learned that they would be changing owners we thought to ourselves, " the service will finally improve" and we had high hopes. We would eat here once a week but, I dont think I will ever return. Its one thing to have poor service such as never getting a refill on soda or chips, waiting 15 mintues after you have finished eating for a bill, or food coming out completely wrong, IF the food is great, but, it is whole differant story when the food is far below average. First they messed up our order so bad everyones order was completely opposite of what we ordered. Then we waited another 25 minutes for our food to come out. My wife loved their enchiladas and my son loved their carne asda fries and both of them were very disappointed when they came out. The enchiladas tasted very bland now and the fries came out on a piece of foil with melted cheddar and a sprinkle of meat. I had a chorizo and egg burrito that tasted like they used bleach water in the eggs and the chorizo was burnt to a crisp. We would have had much better food at Fredricos or Filibertos or any other food truck/trailer. Now that the service is even worse then it was before, the food is sub par for even fast food, and now to top it off it they raised the prices I hive them 6 months to a year before they go out of business or they have new owners again. I feel bad because my entire neighborhood used to love going to this place but now all of us are on the search for another small business to give our support too.
