Portillo's Taste of Chicago. Dedicated to bringing Chicago-Style hot dogs Italian beef and burgers to the Valley. They have a fun 50's diner meets the Hard Rock Cafe atmosphere. The staff is friendly and eager to serve. We were treated to their Famous Five ; their Chicago-style dog, Italian beef, double char-broiled cheeseburger , spicy chicken sandwich, and Italian beef and sausage. Everything was great, from the cheese fries to the chocolate cake. They also serve beer and wine and are perfect for groups with ample seating and multiple locations.

This is a unique restaurant that's comfortable and relaxed. No stuffy ties worn here. It has the style of an old route 66 diner. It has an old revolving door which is unique. The food is great. The interior is fun to look at.

I have been in the drive thru of this location many times. This was my first trip inside. I'm not sure after seeing the condition of the restaurant I will eat there again. We went Saturday night at 8 pm. Every booth and most tables were dirty had not been wiped down at all there was food and trash on the floors. Much of the staff was standing around. The young man that took our order was friendly but it was mostly empty so not crowded. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger which I've had many times. It had no condiments and the lettuce was very dark and wilted. My iced tea had no ice. My husband enjoyed his meal. The restroom was very messy I notified a staff member but she just shrugged and walked away. Super disappointed.

Hard to order because they have so much to choose from, so I usually give up and just order the hotdogs but this time I had no one waiting behind me so I took my time and ended up ordering the spicy chicken sandwich. Very good flavor and not too much bun which was great. The only problem I had was the amount of salt that they put on their fries was overwhelming I threw them away. I love the atmosphere and the employees are super friendly.

I really enjoyed the way they called out the numbers for food pickup. This was a very enjoyable place to have lunch.

Couldn’t have been a better visit. I’d been to a location in Indiana before so I was familiar with the food and the concept. Order process was easy, though it would have been really nice to see my customizations on the screen that faces me.

Food came out quick. The table was a little dirty but we survived. I ordered a single cheeseburger with fries and a drink, everything tasted great.

They also had a lovely lady named Dell who took care of everyone in the dining room. Dell was like a best friend to me in the dining room during my visit. She treated me like I was a family member and made me feel truly welcomed. I’d love to come back!

Portillo's has a great atmosphere, great customer service... But the food is on a different level, meaning on the ok-ish side of it.. Its a little pricey for not so good food, the hot dogs were far from decent, the burger was good, the spicy chicken was anything but spicy or flavorful, and the fries were soggy with oil and not seasoning at all. The ketchup was the best part.

Ordered Chicago dog, chili cheese dog, and garden dog. Large fries with cheese also. very good and good value also. Recommend you give it a try and see what you think. The Italian beef sandwich is their number one seller. Tried that last time. It was excellent very juicy.
