Been afew times. Food is always amazing... but it took 35 minutes (once seated) to get drinks and 2 hours and 15 Minutes to get Food... yes you read that right over 2 hours for food. I love the food but the time you wait isn't really worth it. For the price you pay they need to work on speed and service. If you are going to take along time to get food out you have to be fast on drinks we had to ask several times for beers. The Bier Cheese Kase Schnitzel and the Cabbage Rolls are amazing. Don't get the Brussels (they are barely cooked)

We were referred here by our innkeeper. It is a ways to walk and kind of hidden underground. We got there for an early dinner and waited about 20 minutes for them to open. Inside is dark and pretty intimate. We ordered kraut cakes and a flight of beer for an appetizer. The cakes were excellent. The flight of beer was beer. For dinner we ordered sausage sour kraut and potatoes. I ordered the fried potatoes and my wife the German potato salad. Both were exceptional. The kraut and sausages were very tasty as well. For desert, my wife ordered cheesecake. It was very good. They brought out champagne for our anniversary. Overall it was an excellent meal. I would have given it five stars if not for the location and the fact that when my wife knocked over a 4oz beer flight glass, our waiter left the paper table cloth there with puddled beer on it. I would go back for sure.

What a charming and cozy restaurant! Hands down, my favorite meal experience from my recent birthday trip to Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. Getting into the restaurant was a little bit of an adventure, which I loved. We parked on the street in front of Subway and followed the signs to the restaurant. There were stairs to the right of Subway that we missed on the way in, so we walked into the twinkle-lighted courtyard area and down the ramp to make a full circle to the ground level where the restaurant is located. If you keep your eyes up and off your phone ????, you will find it because all of the arrows lead to the restaurant door. My mom and I did not have a reservation, but we were seated right away in the coziest little nook. We have never been to Germany, but everything about this meal felt authentic with just enough of an American touch to feel like home. I ordered the veal schnitzel with bier cheese sauce, sauerkraut, and German potato salad. Everything was very tangy but very delicious. My mom ordered some type of stuffed mushrooms with potato pancake which was also phenomenal. We aren't big drinkers, so we didn't try any of their beer, but I have never seen so many different types of beer! Pages and pages of different types of brews available on tap and imported in their drink menu. Most people here were adults but there was a family or two with children and a kids menu. 10/10 recommend this place!

My food was flavorful. I had the jager veal schnitzel and red cabbage. The pretzel and Haus-made beer cheese dip was good. My friend wanted a beer and asked for recommendations. Told the waiter she liked a medium colored ale. He brought her a very dark beer. My apple strudel was over microwaved. After cutting through the rubbery pastry, I burnt my mouth when I took a bite of it. My friend wanted the Spaghettieis (spaghetti ice cream) but the machine was broken. Overall, it was okay but not impressed for the price.

Unexpected little underground German restaurant. They have a little no smoking patio where dogs are welcome too. Very traditional german style food with lots of options. Most of the food was good and service was a little spotty (also took around 1 hour to get mains), but the atmosphere is awesome.
We had pretzel, pickled eggs, burger and schnitzel sandwhich. Pretzel was a little dry, but came with a big thing of delicious runny beer/cheese sauce. Same sauce used on Brussel sprouts. Schnitzel sandwhich was very dry/bland and would skip that completely, but burger was really good. Thick and perfectly cooked. The German potatoes were also delicious. Might have ordered wrong so I'll give it another go, but combination of service being a little odd/slow and 50% of food dry/bland gets 3 stars.

Loved it! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was served fresh and steaming hot. Our server, Jessie, was the best. A great experience all around.

Amazing experience! Arrived a little after 3pm and sat in the bier garden. Our server was great despite being very busy. Everything he recommended was amazing. Beer. Appetizers. Meals were all 5/5. So good we went back for a second time on our last day of vacation.

An even 3 across the board. We dined on Friday evening at 7:30pm, and found that we would not have needed reservations as there were plenty of open tables. We had a great table near the stage but unfortunately…no entertainers showed up. If you like a dark, underground atmosphere…you would love the ambiance. Our waiter was professional & polite, but not overly friendly. The food was okay-we all “liked” it, but none loved it. It definitely needed the entertainment factor.
