I’m sorry - I love Cracker Barrel but can’t give this location any more chances. This was my takeout order- the roast beef for 12.69. Had some ketchup (?) in the gravy. The broccoli was raw. Time on the order is always much earlier than they can actually have it prepared. Previous orders have been similar - once I ordered the chicken and dumplings but it was all gravy and like 3 little pieces of the dumplings.

One of my favorite restaurants for real food! Lunch was great, and my server and the rest of the staff were very friendly!

This location has improved greatly in the last few months. Food and service are way better than it was. I think it may have a new Manager who added more kitchen and wait staff.
Only complaint is that their gravy, while better, is still essentially flour/water paste. It's almost inedible... before, it WAS inedible.

Be sure to read the menu, Cracker Barrell has changed a lot of what came with what order, removed a lot of choices entirely, and in general is still in a decline overall as a chain in my opinion. They just are nowhere near as good as they were 5yrs or so ago.

Cracker Barrel has really gone down hill in the last several years. There's only 1 in Montgomery. The whole staff, to include management, needs to be retrained or replaced for lack of customer service, promptness of service, attitude, cleanliness, etc. It is not a pleasant experience as it once was.

I'm not even sure if 1 star is acceptable for this experience. My boyfriend and I had just moved up here from Florida, so we thought we'd give one of our classic favorite restaurants a try. Right off the bat there were only a few couples in the whole restaurant, which should have told us something. So I ordered a Dr Pepper, but got a coke instead. It's not that big of a deal, but we also ordered biscuits with our meals, and those were completely forgotten. When brought to the attention of our waiter, he had a very unapologetic tone and asked us if "we even still wanted them." Not to mention I immediately picked out 2 brown hairs out of my Mac n cheese and my steak. I have BLONDE hair. To top it off my boyfriend had ordered their new strawberry mimosa, to only get a half full glass and a tiny bit of champagne in a bottle that he had to mix himself. This was just absolutely so confusing and no where did anyone or anything mention that it was served like this. Eventually after all of our minor, simple complaints, our waiter, Lyndon, had the manager sent out. Even he seemed like he just didn't care, and when asked if we could take it off of our bill because even the quality of the drink wasn't up to par, all he said was, "well we're just gonna dump it.." The overall quality of our food was good, but service and management from these two was just bizarre. I don't think we'll ever be coming back.

A neighbor and I went tonight. Anna was our waitress and was super sweet, nice, had a great personality, and remembered everything. We didn't have to ask for anything extra because she was on the ball. It's the first time I had been there in several months and was well pleased. Oh, and the food was awesome too.

Fast forward to February 15, 2022. Still getting great service & food.

February 2023 and Genie was on the ball - left a well deserved tip.
