We went as soon as they opened back up at 5pm - very quick service. Ambiance is very charming and welcoming. Our server was wonderful - gave us enough time to look over the menu, refilled the drinks without being asked, did not hover! My husband liked the seasoning of his spicy noodles - good portions, not stingy on the beef flank and vegetables. I had the salmon jalapeño and New Orleans sushi - sushi, potstickers, and spring rolls were mediocre for the price.

Yumm Thai exceeded my expectations. Our server did a brilliant job of creating a lovely lunch experience. Our food was excellent. We enjoyed Shrimp and Grits and Spicy Beef, with Tiramusu for dessert. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and located in the historic Rogers Department Store, a department store chain based in Florence, Alabama founded in 1894.

Hot July 29 day, indoor seating had a wait. Plenty outdoor tables which turned out to be quite pleasant being in the afternoon shade. Service was fantastic. Our server kept the water glasses filled, was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were excellent and inexpensive by our standards; appetizers were incredibly delicious and authentic. I’d definitely come back on our next trip here. Highly recommend.

Sitting outside on a nice day is a wonderful way to enjoy their excellent food. We were there on a busy Saturday night and I was impressed not only with the excellent food but how the staff helped each other out. Good cocktails, wines, and Thai food!

Place felt very cramped to me. Lots of noise, not just from people talking, but the chairs dragging on the floor, kitchen sounds coming through into the dining area, etc.

That said, the hostess and server we interacted with were extremely professional and respectful. They were attentive and quick to deliver us our food; which was very flavorful and delicious. My only gripe with the food is that I wish it had a little more spice & kick to it.

The Thai shrimp and grits is a must! The grits alone are worth the order, creamy and perfect! With a coconut cream base brings an earthy calm to a flavor bomb of sweet & spicy Thai curry! The asparagus Yes, asparagus is crisp, tender and brings your taste buds home to a final resting place of fresh! This dish is on the brunch menu so you may need to ask for it. Kudos to the Sous Chef on this very filling perfectly balanced dish!

These dishes were delicious. Huge fried oysters over a slaw that had a perfect dressing on it. The Tuna was a dinner special. Its was seared and topped with mango and maybe a avocado sauce? Whatever it was, its had a perfect balance. I'm not from around here but the server went out of her way to be helpful. Pulled up pics on her own phone to show me different dishes. She also gave me some great recommendations for short nature trips. I will definitely pop back in if I'm ever out this way again. I have enjoyed the food and people on this little miniature vacation this weekend.
