First time here... our server Morgan was awesome. Had guitarist playing tonight who was fabulous. Smoked chicken and baked potatoe was amazing... white BBQ sauce.. who knew? It was killer.... my husband loved the French onion soup and prime rib. Butter cake and ice cream for dessert.... melts in your mouth 10 out of 10!

I was part of a large party that had made reservations in advance.
The Restaurant actually filled themselves to capacity, while freely admitting they were short-staffed when service levels began to suffer. The Service Staff on hand tried their best, but guests paying for a delightful & hefty-priced evening, should not be slighted to the degree that we were. ALL other patrons, including those arriving AFTER us, received their drinks, apps & meals all in a timely flow....and had departed the premises before we even received our meals. Arriving at 6:30pm, we had not been fully served & wrapped up until well after 9pm. Another major issue was the lack of air, or appropriate levels. Dressed nice for our evening out celebrating two adult birthdays in our group, we were left perspiring in our seats, dabbing our foreheads with our cloth napkins.

Ok. This is the place to eat. As soon as you walk through the front door you can tell the food is going to be amazing and made with love. Eating here is the destination. I had the fresh cooked Tomato pie. It tasted absolutely fresh and it was probably grown in the garden. This is the place I would drive 3 hours to eat. Check out the pictures

This was our first time eating at Ray’s on the Bank and what a wonderful dining experience it was. Everything was perfect; the food, the service, the atmosphere. We will definitely be eating there again.

Best burger I've had in years. And the salmon sandwich had a roumalade to die for. The big surprise was the cornbread salad. What a treat all around! We purchased the smoked gouda pimento cheese to go. Oh my! A quart may not make it through the week.

Ray’s at the Bank is always delicious (especially the oysters, shrimp cocktail, rib-eye, and bread pudding!), but specifically we had our wedding reception there and the food was such a huge hit. Having good food at our wedding was our number one priority and Katrina really went above and beyond to make the midcentury vision come to life. Ray’s has such a good vibe inside and the staff is always friendly as well. We live in Huntsville but we try to eat lunch or dinner there every time we come to town and can not recommend it enough to anyone looking for a great meal in the Shoals.

Service was slow but I think it was more or less a hold up in the kitchen. It took an hour just to get raw oysters. All in all the service and food was good. We spent a total of 2 hours waiting on food.

The atmosphere was good but the food was horrible. We had a party of 10 and almost everyone’s food was wrong. Way overpriced for the meal we got. Would not recommend if you are looking for a great steak, fish or lobster.
