This family business is the best! We have brought our salmon to Indian Valley Meats for years, and its always in perfect shape when we get it! They do a fantastic job at a fantastic price!

I had Indian Valley meats process a moose for me last fall. I was concerned about having someone I didn’t know process such precious payload. I process meticulously all of my own game and make cured meats at home….I am seriously trying to figure out how to economically send my meat up there to have them take care of it.

You can’t make a mistake with these folks- everything I order was better than I can make. It’s expensive hunting, processing and shipping meat home, that is a fact, but if you are going to go through the trouble and expense of taking a trip to Alaska don’t be afraid that what get won’t be the best meat you’ve ever eaten. These folks do it right….pay them to help you!

Drove out to IVM tonight to drop off 100 pounds of sockeye to have processed. Have used their after hours drop off before without any problems. Always love supporting local businesses. However, today they had a sign on the drop off door stating that they were closed until 10 am this morning, yet they were still closed to drop offs. I was there at 9 pm on the same day that the sign stated open at 10am for drop offs. There was also nothing posted online stating their closed status to after hour drop offs. It’s no short jaunt to drive out to Indian only to turn around empty handed. I could hear people working inside yet no one replied to my knocking on the doors. I will never use IVM again after this experience. How hard is it to update your status online as far as after hour drop offs??? I’ll take my business elsewhere as there’s AK sausage & seafood as well as 10th & M seafoods. Save the gas, dissatisfying taste and the ride out of town. There’s no excuse for not updating these closures online.

This shop was amazing. The fish was cleaned up and packaged perfectly at a reasonable price. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The product I received was unacceptable. Vacuum packed fillets were stuffed into bags that were to small, in some cases frozen flesh to flesh which is also unacceptable.

A great place to buy Alaska souvenirs and meat products. Nice variety of meats and jerky products. Quality is great and service is superb. Drive from Anchorage was also beautiful. A must visit place when in Anchorage. I'll be back.

Saw this place on TV stopped in got some amazing reindeer meat highly recommend prices are a little bit high but the food is amazing right off the main Highway great place brought back samples for my family and friends they all love the food

After living in Alaska for over 30 years, my family and I finally got a chance to visit Indian Valley Meats yesterday for the first time. Love the selection, prices were great and staff made us feel welcomed. Thank you for a fun experience! We'll be back again soon.????
