Love this hole in the wall place!
We go for their delicious burgers with their house sauce, and drinks.
Nice laid back place, quick service, great customer service, and amazing food!!!

If you ever get a chance I def recommend to stop through.

Gone here for a couple of birthdays!!
And just random drives for good food.
Put dollars on the wall!
The bathrooms are hilarious (need a sense of humor) you’ll see what I mean when you go.

We stopped here for quick drink and bite. The woman was working alone and doing everything from taking order to cooking to serving. The burgers we ordered were delicious and went well with beers. Amazing place and out of the ordinary ambience.

Service was ok on check in although worker acted like I was an inconvenience.
Room was clean and bed tolerable.
Very small room with no place to hang anything up.
Bathroom was small, and very clean a very pleasant find.
Noise from other guests and trash being thrown out was very annoying.

The owner was phenomenal and spent a good two hours giving me pointers on things to see in alaska while I am visiting. Showed me maps and had regulars at the bar giving me pointers the local knowledge was invaluable

Summer in Alaska is expensive because that's tourist season. Brown Bear provided me with a clean room to sleep in. The room has a bathroom with shower in it. It does not have a TV. If you have business in Anchorage, you will need a car because it is 15 mins away. The drive is amazing though!

Rented a one of the cabins first. It was great and would be a wonderful long stay. Full size fridge, gas stove, nice tea sets, comfortable bed and futon. The rooms are everything you need if you're passing through for a night, hot shower and comfortable bed. Outstanding country bar feel with great service and good food. As a vegetarian, I had the black bean burger, I think it came with thousand island so if you don't do eggs ask about that, it was a satisfying meal. The salmon burgers smelled really good, and I don't typically like the smell of most meat.

Positive: For the price and location it is excellent rustic room. Good place for country folk Negative: The road and parking area were a bit rough. This place is definitely not for your yuppie crowd. But great place for the good old boys!
