I didn’t know this location had become so looney and sketchy, especially on a Monday nite? Well I guess that goes for anywhere in Anchorage these days. Oh, and does anyone know who forgot there TOP cigarette papers in the baby’s aisle?

Google makes me give a star,but this place is absolutely horrible. I will honestly take the time to drive across town to any other location.The "Manager" on shift also needs to be retrained in "professionalism".I'll avoid this location like the plague, because i'd rather waste gas to receive better customer service and not be talked about when im in the next aisle,than to waste energy trying to be nice to rude people who work here. I asked questions about a product, if "she" didn't know the answer, that's all "she" had to say or attempt to ask someone else who could answer the questions. Instead "she" chose to give an attitude and walked away. If by chance employees at this location read my review, here's some simple advise, IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB, CHANGE IT!!

Went this morning and the customer service was horrible. No bagels or rolls. When I asked the lady behind the counter she went to get someone. And was told none today. Can you put up a sign? Their bakery section at this location...DeBarr is horrible the others are better

Beware of the purple haired monster lurking in the shadows watching your every move. I was sent to the store by my wife because she wanted a half pound of grapes so i pick up a bag of grapes and start to take out grapes and put them in another bag of grapes, again, because she didn't want 3 lbs of grapes. I then out of nowhere get accosted be the purple haired monster at the top of her lungs loud enough that I was worried about other customers getting whiplash from turning all at once. She then tells me how horrible i was to take grapes from one bag and put it in another. Which in retrospect next time time i will pull out unwanted grapes and put them on counter. After she reamed me a new one I told her that next time a customer does something she does not like she should approach the situation in a more customer friendly manner without screaming and being distrespectful. Her reply was that I was being disrepectful for touching the grapes. After that I realized that I was not dealing with a fully conscious individual. Bottom line in my 40 years I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a customer service representative.

Great location, of course you have the crowded hours. Parking lot getting worked on has helped a bit by the gas station there.

Not so much friendly employees. Most of the time they seem like they are trying to avoid customers when on the floor. Customer service could be better. Either than that, this store is clean, well stocked and has what you need most of the time.

Seems to have the best price for simple salad and coleslaw ($1.65). Can also find reduced meats 30-50% off. I'm hyper focused on prices and often swing by two other places besides Carr's, checking prices before putting my money down.all open refrigerator shelves are now enclosed with doors! Looks good.

It was late,so quick trip in and out..late night have to use self check out..otherwise it was a good stop ????
