Wow, prices are high here, but I live in a big city in the lower 48. Even the discounted items were exponentially more expensive than markdown items where I live.
Definitely Asian oriented, big 25 lb bags of rice and other bulk items.
I walked here bc it was close to my hotel, closer than Carrs.

You will get great meat here, and an amazing selection of Asain foods, fresh and frozen. There is also a better selection of Hispanic foods than any chain grocery store in town.
Think New Segaya without all the yuppy white people, and no deli or bakery. Otherwise this should be your go to for Asian and Hispanic foods. There might be some smaller specialty shops in town, but they won't have the same selection. There is also a lot of affordable kitchen wares. You can even get most standard Western groceries.
You can also buy chicharones here, like you can buy in Mexico at a carniceria. The best you can get in Alaska. They are sold by the lb.. That is one reason I don't go as often as I would like. I would eat too many. They sometimes run out.. I think they get fresh shipments on Sunday.
My favorite food to buy there is Jackfruit. That is hit and miss, but its a treat when it is in.

Clearly the meat manager Barbara doesn’t like paying shoppers using reusable bags while in the store. Now it’s located in a bad neighborhood, but instead of harassing paying shoppers, let security enforce that and Barbara can mind the meat department? Top this with the overpriced prices, I’m easily taking my business somewhere else.

Always have the best valued prices and deals on meats and other items vs their competitors. Always worth the time to stop in and check their sales items because 8 out of 10....they usually have the better bargain for your buck $$.

Red Apple is an awesome place to shop! Best in town for foreign foods. Pretty competitive prices, to be honest.

Things are a little more expensive than other places, but they also have a lot of stuff you can’t find anywhere else. Some of the cashiers aren’t very energetic or enthusiastic about being there.

You can find so much here. My go to store. BIG selection of Asian spices and ingredients. You won't find another place that has much.

Store was low on stock of the items in ad. Staff was friendly but not very helpful. Decent selection of Asian foods. Prices were soso...
