This is specifically a review on deli service. 08/2023. I live close to this store. I've been going there for 20 years. There have been struggles. The pandemic wiped out their staff and motivation. The service there this month had been such a joy. They have a team. They are smiling, serving, and communicating well. I want to give them kudos. Fred Meyer. Take care of this team.

I worked here for 2 years and can verify that, though not always the best place to be after dark, the service and product quality is consistent. In my opinion this trumps the Walmart right across the way hands down. Fred Meyers has an amazing rewards program build in, competitive prices, and fairly consistent customer service. Don't forget to check the discount bins at the back of the store, as that's where some of the best deals can be located! Truly a superstore that can meet all of your day to day needs in a convenient single location. There is also a gas station and bank in the same parking lot for ease of access.

These employees know how to make you feel their misery every time you interact with them, especially the Deli.
What a bunch of miserable people, it speaks volumes about the management team.
I would rather pay more and have a better experience than to feel like committing suicide
after leaving.
If management wants to fact check me they should try reviewing their own video footage of employees interactions with Customers.
You are always going to have a few unhappy employees but not the whole store unless it’s bad management.
Try starting a spirit committee as a morale booster.

I wish I could give them a NEGATIVE 5 STAR. These people had my passport for a week. I called daily for a week. From customer services to the MANAGER. There response is “I DONT KNOW; OH I JUST GOT HERE: OH WE WILL CALL YOU IF WE FIND IT.” How the do you have cameras at customer service and in your building. But you don’t know how it got back or when to customer service. But your morning MANAGER was supposed to be looking at the cameras??? The only damn reason I have it is BECAUSE I CALLED AGAIN AND SHOWED UP. They do not care about their customers. Now I HAVE to PAY for a new PASSPORT because you incompetent people couldn’t just communicate and talk to each other. While I was calling every day for a week!! It’s like you’re ran by animals. Just FYI all their cameras are there only for sh-ts and giggles.

Well, it was a grocery shopping trip... so kind of hard to be anything other than standard. But this location kinda sucks a little bit. Full store with only 2 checkout lines and some of the self-checkouts weren't working. Bathrooms are locked to keep out riffraff but inconvenient when you gotta take a leak real bad.

I had pretty much stopped shopping here as I was tired of the horrible customer service. I went in on Father’s Day instead of going over to Walmart and was reminded once again why I don’t shop at Freddy’s anymore. The cashiers don’t bother to even look up at you, much less greet you when checking you out. This is terrible customer service and it’s unacceptable to me. I’m in my 40’s and I just don’t understand how lax some retail stores have gotten on their customer service training. Look up and acknowledge the person you’re checking out, why is this so hard? Apparently losing customers isn’t a good enough reason to make sure your employees know to to treat a customer like a human being anymore.

Bad customer service. I was ignored twice in two different departments when I was obviously looking for something. Then, when I actually asked a third for a locate she pointed at something other than what I wanted and walked away. Maybe her circulation is restricted by those super tight pants. Maybe all those tattoos make herself dizzy, I don't know.
There's always Walmart next door...
