I recently purchased a chairs at Office Max, with which I am well pleased. The experience was decent and all of their staff was attentive. Granted, it was difficult for me to choose a chair as I am accustomed to purchasing from big and tall stores. They had approximately 12 chairs for me to choose from, which was not an extensive offering. Also, I wanted to see and experiment with other big and tall chairs- they did not have them. I know that I could have gone to a big and tall store although I had seen one chair which they were selling, and I was interested in it.
Also, I thought that they would have some designer chairs or name brand chairs which were ergonomic in nature. They did not have many chairs which had an ergonomic feel or which were highly comfortable.
In the end, I ended up purchasing a black Square shaped chair that had arm rests but did not constrict my legs . The price was quite reasonable and I was pleased with my purchase. The only issue I had was that it needed to be put together! None of us like that. Nevertheless, OfficeMax was quite helpful.

At one point this store had excellent customer service however, that has changed drastically, and if I could give them, 0 stars I would!!
Customer service is horrible. They couldn’t give a care about a customer and it starts with management, the employees just follow along. I have used their print center for over 7 years and Stephen seems to be the only employee that provides good customer service, but I won’t run the risk of dealing with someone else!!! I will never ever use them again!!!

I come to the store sometimes for office supplies, sometimes for equipment like printers and such, and sometimes to have actual prints done. I just had to do a 10 minute speaking engagement for part of my class, and needed to have a couple of prints done as background. I dealt with a young lady named Mackenzie behind the print counter, and the process was much smoother dealing with her than I think it would have been going any place else. Mackenzie devised a way to print the images I needed to have done in such a way which saved me money in the long run. Mackenzie and her creativity helped me solve a problem I thought was going to be a lot more stressful going into it and I'm so appreciative.
Additionally, I've never had an issue finding what I needed coming to this location, or getting any problem solved that I needed to have done. This is different than other visits simply because without MacKenzie's insight and creativity, this project may not have turned out as well as it did in the end.

For the most part I was satisfied. I only wish they had a better selection of paper. I was making my husband's obituary and I wanted it to be perfect. It would have been better with the right weight of paper but they didn't have any so I had only one choice and that was picking one they had used for stationary. It did turn out very nice.

I'm definably think about not doing business with office max again, not at this location. I purchase or "ORDER" my Notary stamp which I purchase my previously one before when I needed to renew, this person Mckenzie helped me out I did ask her what sizes of the physically stamp they have for me to Choose (not the seal) I had my old one in my vehicle, I tell her I can bring my old one that way we can see the size she said its ok is going to be a standard size, well I trust her with my order the only reason I went it was because back in 2022 they gave it to me there at the store with in 20 minutes, but she tell me they were going to mail it to my address they don't do that no more ( otherwise I will make the online order at my office ) well I agree and continue with the order I was there for 15 minutes already, well when I receive my stamp the size was ridicules big for just a notary stamp 11/4' x 2 3/4 I don't think that's a standard size. I went back when Mckenzie tells me straight out there is no refunds on stamps because she didn't find no number for the warehouse or company I purchase it from. I buy this from OfficeMax nowhere else all she did is gave me the 1800 number after I tell her that I'm not looking for my money back, I was looking for her to replace this purchase that she did wrong.
I really hope McKenzie start treating customer's better and not wasting our time, as her position she should have done better. Thanks for reading this.

The store staff is friendly. They are always ready to assist. The store is well stock and organized. They have self service so you can print, email, fax. I recommend this store.

today 8/15 around 9:50 am I went to leave a package in the fedex mailbox, at the Avondale Office Depot, I asked Mr. James (sales advisor) if he could help me, since in some businesses the mailboxes FedEx are inside the offices, Mr. James made a gesture with his hand, like move out of my way. Seeing his rude attitude, I asked him for the name of his manager, to file a complaint, to which he replied that he didn't care if they do a write up, to my knowledge Mr. James doesn't have the slightest idea how to give customer service and be kind to the people who go to that place. I already filed a complaint. With costumer service about this person.
