A great spot to pick up a Chicago style slice of pizza. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The cheese is great. The veggies are cooked well and abundant on the pie. The sausage was my favorite meat. The crust is not overwhelming and full of dough. The prices are fair for what you get, but do be prepared to wait about 30 minutes to an hour for your pizza pie to cook. They also do open mic nights and it appears bands play there too. If there's one thing I would say as an opportunity to stand out is have a better dining atmosphere. It's a great little spot for pizza and I recommend it highly.

Absolutely amazing! Worth the wait. High quality at a fabulous price. We had the Salami sandwich and the Farmers sandwich. The vegetables were fresh cut, the bread was soft and also crispy. High quality meats and cheeses, just wow! The whole meal was delicious and super filling. Totally recommend the lunch sandwiches. Order ahead, give yourself some time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere! Thank you Fatman's! We'll be back to try some pizzas!

Super sad. Use to love this place. Got our pizza and it's not cooked all the way through. The cheese isn't melted and there is literally only 1/4 of the pepperoni they normally put. I can't really find the sauce either. I'm pretty sure it's not thick crust. Maybe just thick cheese? We won't be going back unfortunately because I should have read the other reviews again. There's also juice on my pizza. Question: do they even look at thier pizzas before boxing??

Stopped in for lunch, working in the area. EXCELLENT Sandwich!! Boars head meat and a lot of it. Owner made my sandwich, he dropped the fresh bread in the fryer for a second before making the sandwich, perfect crispy light outside crust on the bread and still super soft on inside. Tons of meat, fresh clean lettuce and amazing local dill pickles for garnish. Don't just think of this place for a 45 min Chicago pizza, although I bet that is awesome as well with this attention to detail.

UPDATE: I haven't been to AJ for work for 4 months, 2x in 1 week. Had to come in again to try more, but I can't review each stop in. Roast beef sandwich was super good with Carmelized Dijon mustard sauce and the hand tossed works pizza was special. I could taste all of the ingredients with a ton of cheese and the sausage was second to none.

Been by here 500 times at least. Lots of folks said it was good, so I tried it out.
Chicago style pizza and other foods. I had an Italian beef with cheese and giardinera. Pretty tasty. Crinkle cut fries, done excellently. Small salad is huge. Probably a couple meals worth.
Bathroom is clean, tables clean, looks like Fri and Saturday night live music. Some games and such so I am thinking kid friendly. Overall, I'd recommend. On a side note, their big deep dish takes a while to cook, allow some time on the pizza's.

Been wanting to try this place for over a year but will never ever dine there. I called at 6:30 to see if they were really busy. When they answered I politely asked are you real busy right now? The lady said why what do you want? So surprised I said well I'd like for you to answer my question, she replied, what's that got to do with what you want? I said never mind and hung up. Thinking I would just go there and speak to the owner or manager I get there only to find out the "Lady" on the phone was the manager. I walk in she didn't greet or anything she said are you picking up? I replied no I was the one who just called and you were so rude to me can I speak to the manager? SHE REPLIED I am the manager I asked well can I speak to the owner? no he's not here and almost never comes so leave me your name and I'll give it to him. I asked her why she was so rude to me and she said because you were rude to me. I said all I did was ask a question? She then said did you want something, I sat down a minute to gather my thoughts then left. This is the worst I have ever been treated by any restaurant I've ever been too. I'd be willing to bet I won't be contacted by the owner but would like for him to. I highly recommend anyone not going there. I see why there was NO ONE there at dinner time on a Thursday. One of the ways you can tell if an owner cares is they respond to bad reviews and good reviews looking to resolve issues. Look through and you will see many responses to good ones but none to the bad. I'd venture to say that's why this poor excuse of a manager still has a job.

Just ate there tonight with my wife and two kids, the wings are literally the best you can get around, so fresh they’re smoking on the table, fully cooked wings, crispy, the right amount of spice, all cooked to order also got drinks and a small pizza and had tons of leftovers, wings are big instead of the small ones at other places. Tina was our server super nice, very good service got everything we needed, definitely recommend

Fat man's pizza always good . We have a great server always. Which is why we are still giving five stars. Food is great. The cheese cakes are amazing, Philly steak sub are my favorites. We go there weekly.

Now I am finally writing a review as I feel owner should be aware. April 7th my spouse and I went in for dinner. There was a different server this time our first male server. We were very disappointed in this day as drinks were not kept full. Kinda shirt responses. Very rude. Heck we didn't even get offered our cheesecake. Which most the staff knows we love. Definently felt different in environment this time. Hopefully this is a one time issue. Next time I will be pulling management aside.

But other than this time. Staff is great. Food is great. We definitely enjoy our visit. Still a 5 star because previous visits.
