saw the reviews before I came in. thought it was pretty low for a steakhouse. was hoping food would be decent, at least, but it really wasn't good. first, the rolls are probably the worst bread I got from a steak house. the Mac and cheese, which is a premium side, is absolutely HORRIBLE. it's just noodles with shredded cheese on top. Why would you serve that to someone? the steak was actually seasoned pretty good, but I asked for medium, and it came out well done. the only thing here that was good was the loaded smashed potatoes. besides that everything was pretty bad

First time trying this resturant in Marion and we sat in the bar area so our waitress was the bartender. People you have to know you'll have to be patient if you choose to sit here especially if there is only one bartender for the night. With that being said she was amazing from her personality to her complete service she did a great job for as busy as she was! I ordered the Blackened Salmon with a raspberry sauce the fish was cooked all the way through but definitely needed the sauce to make the meal! My side I choose the asparagus which was also cooked correct and was good. We ordered the steak tips which were very tender with a sweet potato baked potato all was seasoned very nicely. The fried shrimp was way over battered which completely took away from the shrimp. The chicken fried chicken was pretty good also! All in all I will definitely be back for another bite of something!!

Affordable Budget Friendly Chain of Steakhouses.

Colton's Steakhouse and Grill has been around since 1996 and has Locations in Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee. I've eaten at this chain in the past and decided finally to write a review. I was in the Memphis TN, Marion AR area for business. I was hungry after a long drive and wouldn't you know it, this location was right beside my hotel. Colton's vibe is a western style, cowboy theme, with icons of the wild west that are seen throughout the dining room and outside.

I looked through the menu and had my mind set on Steak when I noticed they had a 'Smoked' Sirloin. This was a seasonal feature and I was right on the money with my choice. I started with fresh dinner rolls, then out came the Sirlion which I ordered with a side of grilled shrimp. I also had an Ice Cold beer while I was there. The Steak was very tender with a smokey flavour and served with asparagus and corn on the cob. My shrimp was juicy and came with a side of melted butter for dipping. The meal was great, and so was the service. I like it when everything goes smoothly. I have rarely had any issues at any of the Colton's Steak House and Grill locations I've visited in the past. This visit was no different and it was right beside my hotel, so it was also very convenient. Give Colton's a shot yourself if you like steak and that Wild West vibe.

The hostess and the waitress were awesome and super friendly. The rolls and loaded mashed potatoes were great. I ordered the Hawaiian steak, blue rare. It came out as if the chef cooked it in the microwave. It was so grey and pale as if it died of a stroke five days before it went to the slaughter house. Whatever it was cooked on (if it wasn't the microwave) was not hot maybe like warm when it went in. The light charring on it rubbed right off as if it was sprinkled on it. I would not recommend steak at this steak house.

Colton's was busy when we entered with a group of ten people around 7 pm. They had us seated together in about 10 minutes and our waiter waiter was taking our drink order within a couple of minutes. The appetizers and food was hot and delicious and our waiter kept checking back every 5 minutes or so making sure we had everything we needed. Our visit was excellent and our waiter was great. We will definitely be going back to the Colton's in Marion AR in the future.

Great food and exceptional service! Jasmine was very prompt and courteous throughout our visit.

Certainly worth stopping in when looking for a meal option.

We visited on a Saturday just before 1pm, it wasn't very busy and we were the only people sitting at the bar. Overall, service was slow. I think the bartender may have also been waiting tables.
Our food was good and when we did see our bartender, she was friendly. I was surprised that the bathroom floors weren't clean, since it wasn't busy and it was less than two hours after opening. Definitely not the best Colton's that we've visited.

Very clean and cozy place. My Lil one has a shell fish allergy and they were super cool about taking precautions. I like places that actually uphold a standard for those that can get very ill from false information like, "we don't cross contaminate" but you later find out they just wanted your money. So this place won my vote and I can't wait to go back. The steak the chicken even the grilled cheese they made my kiddo was all so good!
