We stopped on our way back to Texas for a quick bathroom break and decided to grab a bite to eat.

We were pleasantly surprised about how clean the restaurant was and attentive the staff was.

I had a Jjr. Cheeseburger, small fries and iced tea. My daughter had Spicy Nuggets and fries.

All in all for fast food it tasted good, it was convenient to the highway and made for a quick stop.

I want to shout to the Wendy’s at Malvern, AR. We are noticing all the improvements in customer service, food quality & atmosphere. A special shout out to Gracie at the drive through window today (8/22/2023) for literally some of the BEST customer service, friendliness, while being a professional, that we have met in many a year, from anywhere in AR. She’s awesome. Thank you all.

Great local Wendy’s.

A bit dated though and the establishment looks to be struggling with upkeep.

Staff somewhat unprofessional at the front end taking orders.

Interior of the restaurant is struggling to keep the place clean after guests finish their meal.

Food was good though so no complaints in that department.

Restaurant was clean, staff was quite friendly, and my food was really good. I'm becoming more impressed with Wendy's, I did not like them for years. I'm glad I decided to try them out again.

So I have personally worked at Wendy's as well as a couple other fast food joints over the years, so I understand how frustrating a lunch rush can be!! But y'all gotta do better and get it together!!! I sat with only two cars in front of me still ordering and waiting to order...why was it another 12 minutes before I was able to order and then at least another 10 before I finally got my cold and almost naked Baconator Fries. For real y'all I paid $4 and some change for a small order of french fries with about 2 teaspoons of cheese and not even a half of a piece of bacon on them AND IT WAS COMPLETELY COLD!!!!! Not to mention that every employee's face that I saw looked so miserable and unwelcoming!!!! Y'all have lost me with this one!!!

Tried to go inside at 6:45pm on a Saturday to order to-go and use the restroom and the lobby doors were locked. Store dining hours posted on the door open until 10pm. Terrible business practice and terrible customer service. I’m 9 months pregnant and all they had to say when I called was “I’m sorry ma’am you’ll have to use the drive through.” Store management needs improvement. We went to McDonald’s instead!

Today is a one star review. I'm usually a big fan of Wendy's, their rewards program is amazing and they have the Baconator. The situation didn't look too bad from the Walmart across the parking lot so I shot out a mobile order and went to pick it up. Upon arriving, I found out that they were short staffed and were running about 20 minutes behind. McDonald's next door had no such issues so I just went there.

This Wendy's can't have that kind of problem due to the proximity of fast food alternatives, the general manager needs to get on the case. There's a Burger King and the aforementioned McDonald's within walking distance, there's a Whataburger opening across the street later this year or in early 2024, and Popeyes, Arby's and Taco Bell are all less than five minutes away. Did I mention that it's also right off the interstate? Well it is.
