Best part about whole hog is the 6 different sauces that are available to taste. One of a kind potato salad. Definitely recommend for bbq.

Pretty decent brisket and sausage were tasty, but what made the meal was the baked beans. Haven't had sweet molasses baked beans in a while, and boy, were they good. If ever in town again, I'll try their ribs and chicken and encourage you to give this BBQ joint a try.

Pretty good bbq! The okra was the best restaurant okra I think I’ve ever had, the beans were just okay to me. The ribs were meaty, smoky, and tasty. The sliced brisket was subpar in my opinion, any time I get thinly sliced brisket I feel a shortcut has been taken. It had okay flavor but was dry, gray, and below average compared to what other restaurants are serving for brisket these days. I’d eat here again but skip the brisket.

If you'd ever wandered what BBQ was like in Arkansas, don't. I had high hopes given the sauce selection, however that's where my disappointment started, and only got worse. The "sliced" brisket was more shaved and I'm positive microwaved bologna slathered in liquid smoke would have had more flavor. I finally found some semblance of flavor after mixing all six sauces together which just added to my confusion of how they think serving two, yes two tiny ribs is ok as part of their two meat plate... which really didn't matter as the bush's baked beans stole the show, and that's not supposed to be a compliment, but when canned beans are better than your cue something isn't right.

** Quick update, due to owner response... I gave 3 stars out of pity because I know some amount of effort had to go into taking all aspects of flavor out of the meat, except the two little bites of ribs did show promise, and no I didn't eat it all out of fear it would cause me to pull over midway through my road trip from Atlanta to OKC.. I mostly review bbq places , and pretty fairly I believe because I want restaurants to be successful.

I loved our visit to whole hog Cafe. I got the half rack of ribs with fries and fried okra. It was delicious. I really enjoyed their dry rub. I think my wife who got the same meal would have preferred the other. I would recommend their ribs.

Whole Hog is generally pretty slow, but today was horrible. They're lucky the food is always pretty great. It's almost not worth it due to the wait, though.

Tonight, I had a clear order and it got completely jacked up. The guy at the window clearly didn't listen to word that I said. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for the food (that's not an exaggeration), we realized I didn't get the beans I ordered. Checked the receipt and it wasn't on there - dude didn't even get that I said it... But I did. I questioned myself but my wife swore to me she heard it and then when we got home we realized we got a different meat than I ordered.

While I was inside ordering the beans again, it was way more hectic in there than it should've been given that there weren't a lot of guests in the building. If this place could figure out the logistics, we'd order at least once a week.

Replacement meal was very good but I was shorted the jalapeno sausage and all the meat portion were smaller than on my original ultimate platter. Lastly, while the DID provide the 2X #5 sauce they left out the first time, they gave me #4 instead of #6. Service was excellent and the food provided was very good.

I give it five stars because I love the bbq, but that is not why I'm making a review. I ordered a pull chicken sandwich per usual anyway I found a little plastic wrapper in my chicken. Guess a little plastic won't hurt nobody right? Do me a favor cooks and servers check the food as if you were going to eat it.
