They need help! If you're looking for a job, call them. We arrived there and the door was locked but we saw people inside and the sign said open. We were let in once the waitress noticed us. It took a while for us to be waited on, and some people left. The food was worth the wait. I'll maybe try them again, but earlier in the day.

The food was outstanding and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Friendly staff and decent prices for how good the food is, it was worth every penny spent.

Delicious and will hit the spot! As a soul food cooker I am extremely skeptical of other versions but this food is good! I had to try a taste box with tenders, Mac n cheese, greens, yams, and a side of black eyed peas. The tenders were soft and well seasoned they went well with the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese had a creamy cheesy flavor no salt was needed it had a good flavor on its own. The collard greens had a hint of vinegar which I like. The yams were modestly sweet with a little taste of water but I still enjoyed them. Black eye peas were flavorful but I like mine to have a thicker base. I also bought a large order of gumbo! The gumbo was phenomenal- I loved the big slices of sausage and shrimp and the roux has a great creole flavor. By far my favorite dish! The presentation was beautiful and just like the pictures of the website so that was nice. Cool small local restaurant vibe.

YBF Kitchen in Conway was great!
Cute little location with great service.
Our party had the Chicken and Waffles, Catfish Nuggets, Chicken and Rice, Favorites Sampler, and Butter Pecan Beignets. Everything we had was great! We will definitely be back!

I placed an order online.
Within a couple of minutes of placing my order, I received a phone call to tell me that they were out of peach cobbler beignets, so I choose to change it to Strawberry Beignets.

I ordered the Cajun Smothered Shrimp and Grits. The shrimps were meticulously cleaned and perfectly prepared without tails to remove. The grits were creamy and delicious. But the remoulade sauce with fire roasted tomatoes completely brought this dish to life. My soul cried out in joy when I took my first bite. This here is REAL soul food! This here is straight from NOLA! This here would be what’s served in Cajun Heaven, if there were such a thing. My Cajun grandma (1899-1974) would surely approve. Cajun Smothered Shrimp and Grits. I dunno which Cajun smothered these shrimps, but they deserve all the raises and a paid vacation.

This was so much food, I barely even made a dent in it. It seems expensive at $21.00, but I will likely eat it for lunch tomorrow and Friday. This dish could have been shared with one or two other people. It’s a lot of food, y’all. Worth it.

Husband couldn’t decide on just one thing, so he ordered YGFBFKitchen's Favorite's
Tasting Box. It had Cajun Alfredo Steak Melt, Blackened Cajun Chicken Alfredo and Cajun Smothered Shrimp & Grits. His favorite thing was the steak melt. He said everything was great, though. He finished off the steak sandwich and ate half of the other two entrees and saved the rest for lunch tomorrow.

The strawberry beignets were to die for. They were so fresh and decadent. It came with four, covered in cream and powdered sugar with freshly sliced strawberries. We each ate one and I saved one for tomorrow.

Now, I’ve saved Fried Green Tomatoes to talk about last. They had good flavor, but… it was all breading and an extremely thin slice of green tomato inside. This breading would be excellent as hush puppies. I’ve been known to throw down on some fried green tomatoes, but I only had one of these. My husband ate the other three while complaining of how it was only breading. He was also ‘upset’ they didn’t come with the sauce. But he sure didn’t slow down on eating them.

Very friendly staff. Our server Jade was excellent. Restaurant was very clean & organized.

Being a vegetarian I loaded up on the side dishes and they were amazing on their own (Left the chicken strips on plate for reference).

Very much what I thought “Southern” cooking should taste like-home cooked and comforting and full of carbs. (Fellow Michigan girl here!)

Generous portions allow for a take-home container that begs to be eaten almost immediately after getting there.

MAC AND CHEESE WAS HOT AND GOOEY, peppered perfectly. Cornbread muffin was moist and sticky sweet. Fried green tomatoes worth writing home about. Never had grits before but the cheesy grits were tasty.

Will definitely return and will remember YGFBFK for any catering needs I may have in the future. ????????

I was looking forward to trying this food after seeing all the pictures and hearing good things from other people. The server ended up messing my order up with another table, which would’ve been fine had she addressed it. But I had to ask her myself for the food to be remade because I ordered a blackened chicken Cajun pasta and she gave me the Rasta Pasta. The two plates did not look alike at all. She gave my food to the other table AGAIN. It was handled very poorly. No manager came out to give me an update on my food and I had to be the one going up to the counter to check on my food. In the end, I ended up just going to Wendy’s instead. Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time.

The server was not trained properly. When I was asking questions about the menu before ordering, she seemed to be making up answers and didn’t seem like she actually knew what she was talking about. Sad to say I probably will not be back.
