The service and the atmosphere was good as usual. The server was very nice and patient. The atmosphere was just what expected the after church dinner crowd to be. The food is what disappointed me. I got the roast beef only to be told it was portion size and looked dry. The okra was portioned sized to the plate and not the order. So, about 10-12 pieces. I ended up getting the southern fried chicken. It was hot and juicy, but I had to wait for the reorder.

We joined the waitlist online where it showed it would be a 10-15 minute wait. We arrived at the restaurant after about 10 minutes and were told it would be another 10-15 minute wait, which we understood because this is a holiday weekend and it was obviously busy. Once we were seated it took literally - and i am not exaggerating - 22 minutes to receive our drinks. After another 37 minutes of waiting we received our food. As I said we realize this is a holiday weekend and we have no issue with waiting so long as we feel we have not been forgotten. However, our server did not check in with us between bringing our drinks and our food or inquire about a refill or even apologize for the wait. I will say our server was pleasant and not rude but we just feel with the extended wait we could have been checked on or at least offered a refill. The food was absolutely delicious however so at least our patience paid off!

I had an excellent meal here. My server Aubrei was great. She made sure I was attended to. I had the sweet and smoky chicken strips which were great, along and dumplings. I also had the pancakes which were light and fluffy. No complaints here I will definitely visit again for the same service and quality food

It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour for our food. This place needs help. Never had this experience at a crackel barrel. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

The Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm traveling. I Enjoy their gift shop and always find something that I like for myself and gifts for friends and family.

Trussville cracker barrel is hit and miss some days. Lunch today was a little bit of a wait, and our hostess was very attentive to our drinks and ck on us. Food came out hot and very delicious!!! Great experience

The worst service I've ever had at a cracker barrel. Avoid this one.

The whites of my eggs were undercooked, I asked for extra syrup and didn't get it. The waitress just threw things on our table, not even looking at our party, but paying attention to the party at the opposite table.

Food was brought out at different times rather than everyone being served at the same time

Food was good like normal, service was terrible, had several servers look at us, after almost 16 minutes after being seated. We had to ask someone if we had a server, and if so could we aleast get drinks. Then took 10 minutes to get 2 teas. Then had another 12 minutes before anyone took our order. We like CB, but the people they have employed is a crying shame. They dont want to work, just a check, it shows.
