First visit to this restaurant. The food was surprisingly good. Nice portions . I didn't know what to expect The service was Great. Our server was very polite, personable and attentive. Thank you Crystal. Crystal If you visit Michigan or Ohio watch out for the snow this winter.

We came at the lunch hour but amazingly there was no wait especially for a party of 8. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink orders quickly. She next took our food orders and delivery to the table was quick. The food portions are plentiful and you should not leave hungry. This is primarily a barbeque restaurant but there are other offerings that are equally satisfying such as fried catfish and salads for a healthier option. And do not hesitate to try the cornbread muffins that are free to the table. They are excellent...almost like eating cake ????

This was probably my fourth trip to this restaurant in this location. It has always been very good for a quick lunch with well-prepared food.

I ordered a BBQ sandwich with a bun and corn on the cob. I left off the BBQ sauce on the corn—I prefer the more traditional butter only. It was not a problem.

The BBQ pork was moist and tender and well-flavored. The bun was fresh. The french fries seem like they are made in-house and not purchased in a frozen food section of a grocery store.

On a second visit, I ordered a half rack of the baby back ribs. They were cooked perfectly and with a good flavor. Very tender ribs and a little messy to eat but worth it. A half rack of ribs is more than enough for one person.

There is a large bar area in the restaurant. Our serving of cheese muffins was quite large. They were served warm and very fresh.

Overall, it was a delightful experience in an informal, down-home type of restaurant. Well worth a visit.

The service I received was exactly what you’d expect from southern hospitality. I came and ate alone and sat at the bar, Jameka (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was so friendly and helpful. This was my first time here and it won’t be my last. They serve these delicious little cheese biscuits and the salad I started with was so good. They use real bacon pieces, and the salad tasted very fresh. Then I had the brisket and okra and both of them were delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this place. This is the 3rd bbq place I’ve tried in Montgomery and by far my favorite!

I had a 3 meat combo with Ribs, Turkey, and Catfish. It was excellent! Catfish was clean and light. Turkey was moist. Ribs were meaty and just the way I like them where they stay on the bone with good flavor. The two BBQ sauces provided were good I like the red better than the white. I had BBQ beans and they had pulled pork and good flavor. The cole slaw was great with the right amount of sauce. The deviled eggs were sweet and spicy and as always I love deviled eggs. The half (top) of Cheese biscuit was good with honey butter. I would go back.

Went out for dinner on Saturday night and we were seated right away. The host and our server were kind and attentive. Food was good but nothing special. Our food when came out was a little cold. The cheesy biscuits are always great. It’s a family friendly restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside.

Jim 'N Nick's in Prattville nice and clean looking. The server was really nice. Delicious cheese biscuits. My smoked turkey and caslaw were good. The grilled cheese sandwich with corn on the side from the kids' menu tasted good. They didn't have crayons to draw anymore for kids to interact with them while food is coming. They should bring them back. They provide a high chair.

I don’t think you can go wrong with ordering anything here! My food is always fresh and hot and the corn is so good! And the biscuits?! Takes the prize every time ????
