Heard about Smoked Magic from one of their employeess (shout out to Trace!) and gave it a try on my way from Pelham to Tuscaloosa. It’s off the beaten path but is exactly what a southern BBQ place should be. Simple menu, helpful staff, nice outdoor seating area. I had the pulled pork sandwich with the sweet heat sauce, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and banana pudding (not pictured). It was all great. Sauce was more sweet than spicy. The pork was juicy and not fatty at all and was a good portion. Baked beans were good but the Mac and cheese stole the show. It was so good that I got some for my wife to take home.

We have eaten here several times and the food is consistently great. Staff is wonderful and the loaded fries are the best!!!

Great food, friendly staff, Taco Tuesday can't be missed, awesome Friday specials and WOW Best Barbecue in Woodstock and beyond!

We stopped by yesterday and picked up two large pork sandwiches and onion rings and okra. The sandwiches are huge and they gave me a military discount and a free tea. I can't wait to try out the Chichen and dumplings Friday. Great food.

Bought a double burger and fries, Hamburger was awful, hardly any lettuce and onions were chopped so small didn't taste them, meat was saggy like it was cooked in water, fries were good, it was take out

Very nice, quick service, clran facility. Food was tasty and some of the dishes were homemade.
