I was just in to grab a sandwich today for lunch and had fantastic service. They were SO fast and efficient and friendly. I wish I had be able to catch the names of the 3 ladies working. GREAT job. They are an asset to your company!!! April 7, 2023

Applelane Farms had always been one of my favorite places to get quality ham and sandwiches. I stopped by the Decatur store on 03/18/2023 and ordered a pound of sliced ham. The young lady took my order while an older lady preped and packaged my order . Everything went quick and smooth . The older lady brought my order out to me, I thought it was kind of strange it was in a to go sandwich container instead of the usual tin foil package. When I got home and opened it up, There was not one slice all there was in the container was a pound of ham scraps . I was so very disappointed even thought of going back and returning it to get my money back but since I live in Huntsville and had purchased the ham in Decatur just couldn't justify driving the distance. My wife and I made our sandwiches with the scraps of tasty ham, but from now on I will open the package before leaving the store.

I have to start out by saying I’ve visited this location for almost a decade with no issues. However, the last few times I’ve been in (post pandemic) the staff has been less than friendly. The cashier seems short and put out when you have a request. Also, they don’t communicate very well with phone orders. I order a family style banana pudding and they packed a small container. When I corrected the mix up, they acted like it was my fault and I waited for ten minutes. To add more insult to the injury, when I got home to enjoy my pudding, it was almost tasteless. I paid $25 for mediocre banana pudding. Very dissatisfied customer and as sad as I am to say it, will most likely take my business elsewhere. There are other establishments I enjoy more.

Quiet lunch. It’s a nice little sandwich shop with the ability to order some ham and turkey for the holidays. Think local before buying your holiday ham!
