This place is above average for sure! Helpful staff, well stocked and the prices are comparable to the big stores! Many times I have found their prices to be less!!!I enjoy shopping here when I am in Lexington!

Thompson Lumber is great. For a country hardware store, the have most anything you need for building, maintenance and repair of the homestead or farm. Prices are a little higher than the big box stores, but if you live out in the middle of nowhere...you actually may be better off just buying local from Thompson.
The employees are friendly and helpful. Smiling. Need something, ask... If they have it, they know where it's at.
Have anything from paint to shingles, tools to hardware and fasteners, from doors to hoteater heaters, from plumbing supplies to electrical supplies.
