Best catfish in my opinion. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Good service! Cash or check, not sure if this is all the time so be prepared with cash just in case.

Best waitress!! Clean! Very comfortable and good atmosphere. The steamed broccoli tasted like it wasn’t fresh, but frozen. Fresh baked potato was the best part of my meal. The fried shrimp iffy. Hush puppies were good.

Living nearby(10 miles or so,maybe 15).My wife and I always enjoy eating here. We've never had any problems or complaints about food or service. BTW-if you plan to visit,please know that they are cash or check only. They have added an ATM,but we usually carry cash.

Went on the advice of a friend who lives in Lester. Great place to eat. Price was more than reasonable at $15+tip. Their menu includes seafood choices such as shrimp, scallops, etc. Ordered a medium size catfish filet dinner with choice of sides and trip to the salad bar. As soon as she brought my plate, I told her I was going to need a "to go" box. Don't let the crowded parking lot fool you, there was no wait and the service was friendly and fast. Young lady at the register advised me that Friday and Saturday nights ARE crowded. Sunday after Church can also get busy. Fish and hushpuppies were cooked to order and fresh, not sitting under a heat lamp for three hours. This place is a good distance from home but worth the drive. It's a simple, yet delicious country style dinner served by some remarkable folks who care for their customers. Pardon the half eaten plate, I forgot to snap a photo before I dug into it. Dessert from the salad bar was also included-banana pudding and peaches.

This little spot is about 40 minutes from me, but worth the drive! A delicious salad bar! I know everyone loves the fish here, but the chicken livers are the best I've ever had!

We came through town on a Friday afternoon and stopped in for a late lunch. Imagine my surprise when I found out they had chicken and dressing for the plate lunch special. I will make a special trip back to this wonderful restaurant for this home style lunch. I’ve also had the catfish, which is really good. The salad bar is always fresh and delicious too. It’s worth the side trip off the main road to eat at this quaint place! HOWEVER, they only take checks and cash, so be prepared.

Waitress was very nice and helpful answer our questions about the food and we had a large group and she got everything right and they had fried green tomatoes they were great

Stopped by traveling thru and dang what a suprise..Food was really great..The catfish was not loaded with salt so you can enjoy the flavor. Huge portions. Service, food , cleanliness and the price great..You definitely will need a to -go box. Around 75 miles one way from Cullman but we'll worth it. Will definitely be back.
