Food okay! Portions are very small! Could be a little more generous for the price! Hamburger steak cooked to done, dry! Chicken pot pie bland! Marie Calendar's is better! The plates shown with big portions, not accurate for everyone!

In the interest of honesty I'll tell you I know the owner. He's a great guy and a good man. The food is flavorful and the prices seem fair. The atmosphere is no frills but comfortable. I eat because I must, I eat here because I like it.

Great meat & three comfort food, served cafeteria style. Beef tips on Tuesdays and Sunday it's specials are fork tender Roast Beef along with Chicken and Dressing. Make your tummy happy and give Home Plate Diner a try.

And this food was very nasty. The old white lady she was so rude and prejudice and mean to me. Not all white people are like that, but this place they are very prejudice. I was the only black young girl in there I felt the Vibe I wasted my money that I will never come back to this place again I felt so unwelcome

Seems that should be 15 stars, more or less a legitimate grand slam! Thanks for the tasty taste goods and as H. Burg von DER gravy once said to his faithful following of three, "Go forth Mac Wisconsin and slay away cheesily whilst Whipped like spuds muck up enough gravy to tango with the best yet yeast rollover rolls and satisfy that hunger!"

Steam table servers are very polite & helpful with suggestions.
The checkout person's customer service is not so good & is always away from register, in & outside smoking; having to wait til she comes bk insider to checkout.
