The front employees are great always happy and helpful. But the deli team is extremely slow and always seem to be having bad days EVERYDAY! There is no sense of urgency back there even during rush hour times. I’ve seen plenty of customers leave because of the wait or their attitudes and I am one of them.

The low score is because of the deli. They are under staffed badly the workers do the best they can. But the main thing I saw were the flies. All over the bread. I mentioned it and she said there was nothing they could do. She was frustrated. Publix can do better than this. Nasty

Really nice place that is kept up well and has extremely friendly employees.
Very efficient check-out service and excellent produce department along with the floral department.
Wonderful personnel in the deli and bakery department also.
Very clean restrooms.
Handicap parking available with ample parking in front of the location.
This Publix is part of a strip mall that includes other retailers.
Has recycle containers in front for plastic and styrofoam.
Busier than ever still a great grocery shopping experience.

I don't normally shop at this Publix in Hueytown,I decided to stop by for some fresh vegetables from the deli. They didn't have but one vegetable. So I went ahead with my purchase. The food I got was ok. But wasn't completely satisfied. I waited for 20 minutes or more. They had three people working but they all was focused on the customers that was buying a sub sandwich. Was not satisfied with the customer Service nor did they have a variety of vegetables to choose from.

You can NEVER get the deli on the phone. Just now, I called three times to place an order ahead of time since, whenever I just drop by, they are out of what I try to order. I was transferred the first time, asked for the deli to be paged the second time, and transferred rudely the third and final time. This is my experience EVERY time I called this Publix Deli.
It's really irritating when you're told "you should have ordered ahead of time," as I have been before, only to not be able to do just that.
I will have to go out of my way to go to another Publix now. It's ridiculous as this one is very close to where I live.
Very disappointed.

Very friendly staff, they're always eager to help you in any way that they can. The store is very clean, and they always have all of their register's open, with no line and no waiting. Awesome job ????

Publix BOGO items are always worth a trip to the store but I never fail to find a million other things to put into my buggy before I check out. It really is a pleasant shopping experience.
