Usually the grocery pickup is pretty good and the people are friendly however when I told the associate I didn't want my substituted item and to please make sure to take it out she looked at her hand-held device she said it looks like it's removed and you won't be charged. I told her goos just make sure to take it out so I don't still get it and not have paid. She looked into a couple of bags as she loaded the car and said no I don't see it. I got home and there was the substituted item and I was charged for it. I also got a box of cat litter that was taped shut on the top and leaking litter. Y'all can do better. I know you are not supposed to pick damaged products and if it's the last on the shelf just place a note on it to tell your customer "sorry but this was the last one so you don't have to accept it but know it's damaged". It's that easy. I know because I've done the exact same job. Elevate your customers service skills to be the best at what you do.

Usually the experiences are pretty good despite the wait. Tonight on the other hand involve sugar and salt all over my trunk. Thanks for the ants that are to come. Please Walmart management, teach these kids a thing or two because the schools certainly are not!! They should have said sir or ma’am, I’m sorry but some the sugar and salt seemed to have been busted, I’ll be back with your replacement. Again, management, take pride in your work and set an example. I know how well you’re getting paid so save your excuses on customer service is hard. You chose this. I’ve got my money back for your screw up. Thanks.

What's wrong with Walmart why don't they open more registers?? I see plenty of employees walking around doing nothing. Do they get paid for that? Walmart needs to open registers up for the people that DOES NOT WANT TO DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM. What's wrong with you Walmart everyone complains about this Everytime I'm in there. Wake up before people go another route. You can not say it's faster when those lines are out in the isle. So I would say put those employees that are doing nothing behind the registers at least you (Walmart) would at least get your money worth out of your employees instead of giving them a free paycheck.

Walmart in Hazel Green AL , has a new up grade. Shine floors, news signs, and easy to find things. A new look, make you happy to shop here.

Update: August 2023...they have remodeled the entire store and it is once again bright, clean, and organized. Hope it stays that way! Still too many self-checkouts and not enough staffed checkout lanes.

Pretty nice when it first opened. Now it's just become another WM ☹️

Vanessa, our delivery driver, is rude and inconsiderate! My brother in law lives with us and is quadriplegic. He can’t talk, can’t walk, he has little movement in his arms that allows him to use his computer. He loves to help out wherever he can. He has been ordering the groceries for our family for a long time and loves that he can do this for everyone. He has an older lady who stays with him during the day while my husband and I are at work. She has back problems and just had surgery last week. My brother in law always puts in the request for the groceries to be placed on the table right inside our door so his sitter doesn’t have to bend down and lift heavy items off the floor. We have NEVER had an issue until today. He put his drivers request just like he always does but today Vanessa flat out refused to put the groceries on the table. She put them on the porch. Even after our sitter asked her nicely and even told her she has stitches and can’t bend over or lift heavy items. This is absolutely ridiculous and wrong in many ways!!! Vanessa has no business being in any customer service position if this is how she treats her customers!! I am highly disappointed and upset that our sitter had to move and lift everything!

The people are so friendly at this location. The people working there, and even other shoppers. I ask this one lady she walked with me several iles over to show me where my item was. And Walmart employees are so nice and helpful. I love shopping there. And will continue to.

I want to give a huge shout out to Sharon in Housewares. I met her several years ago at the store and she never fails to go out of her way to help me and others that I have witnessed. She is always courteous, caring and knows your Wal Mart stock. She always goes out of her way to help and if she doesn't know she does not leave you hanging, she keeps on till she get an answer for you. She is always respectful and kind.
