Cozy atmosphere, friendly service from the moment you walk in until the time you leave. There are a lot of vintage looking signs on the wall to look at and admire while you wait.
The food menu is posted on the wall - makes it nice and easy to view, and you're not touching yet another menu.
The portions are nice sized, and the prices are reasonable.
The selection of hot sauces they have is impressive! I don't think I've ever seen so many options!
It is a bit small inside, so if you're a large party - say over 4 people - you may have to wait a bit for a table, but the food is worth a small wait.
Parking was relatively easy - there were plenty of spaces when we arrived.

Amazing place, great decor, good customer service.
We came here three days in a row for breakfast. Our favorite was the country fried steak and eggs; the gravy was creamy, the house fríes were delicious and crispy, and the steak was very tender and well seasoned.
My husband had the omelets once, and he mentioned it was pretty good. I also had the pork chop, and it was great, very flavorful, and not dry at all.
Not to mention the customer service, it was spot on!

Awesome place we had breakfast but they also serve lunch. We went on a Sunday morning and it was busy. The food looked great and tasted even better. I had the Denver Omelette it was delicious with a biscuit. Husband had biscuits and gravy with a side pancake also great. Friendly people and hometown feel. You are missing out if you don’t give them a try!

28JUNE23 ~ Great family friendly atmosphere, genuinely friendly staff, and outstanding food. We ate breakfast there twice and lunch once. The breakfasts are all great and I recommend the wonderful Cuban sandwich that I had for lunch.

This is an outstanding little down-home, mom&pop style restaurant! Everything we had to eat was excellent. You don't find GREAT and REASONABLE places like this much anymore. Don't be fooled by the unassuming atmosphere - They know how to prepare great home cooked-style meals . We're locals and for our money it is one of the very best restaurants in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach.

If you want a diner feel with superior diner food, go here. Staff was lovely and helpful, food was delicious, locals were kind. Off the well beaten path but well worth it.

Excellent breakfast. But the guy serving was a grump and rude! He was more interested in staying behind the counter and singing purple rain than earning a good tip. The high chair was dirty and I had to clean it myself. The great food made up for it. The Chef was friendly as well when he came out and said hello. Growing up in a family business Restaurant..it makes an impression when the chef comes out to say hello and make sure your satisfied. This seems to be a place the locals eat at.

My husband and I got The breakfast of Denver Omelets and they were delicious! He ordered toast with his and it came with sliced potatoes. I ordered a biscuit, it was huge and very good, but didn't realize I would be charged 75 more cents. That wasn't a problem with me but it might be to someone else. Neither one of us finished our potatoes, they seemed like they had been overcooked by reheating. The sweet tea was good too. We had to wait 10 minutes or so to be seated. I'm not sure what the time was but it was around 10 am on a Sunday. While we were eating, more people came in, being seated after a small wait. Four people were waiting on the chairs provided for that when another couple and a single man (I don't know if more were with him) came in and were waiting when the waiter came by the front where they were standing and told them breakfast was only going to be served for about 10 more minutes and he didn't know if he could get to them. Both the couple and the man left. I don't think my rating would have been half as high had I been one of them. We will certainly try eating there again in a future visit to Gulf Shores. The diner is located in a strip mall and was very interestingly decorated. You ordered off the large chalk board on the wall.
