Great place to walk laps. Lighted when dark.

We found this place last week in our quest to explore the area - we just moved here. It's a nice park with plenty to entertain the kids. There are two jungle gyms, a smaller one and a larger one, in the playground area, so all the kiddos have something to play on. Two swing sets, also, one of which has a couple baby swings. Right in the playground area sits a nice table and chairs under the shade trees - a gorgeous little spot, really. There's a pavilion with picnic tables, a grill, restrooms, and water fountains. A walking track encircles the park, and there's also a basketball court, a few baseball fields, a soccer field, and even a wonderful open field with a few small trees for picnics or other activities. This is a gem - we'll definitely be visiting often!

Love this park. It's about 10mins from our home and both of our children love going here

It wasn’t until the 70’s (if I’m wrong, let me know I’ll make the correction) when Black people was allowed to come to this park. The park is an ideal place for a family bar-b-q or family reunion. Great place to exercise or pick up a game of basketball.

This is a great place for kids to play. Not crowded, & you don't have to drive into town for your children to swing or slide.
