Nick's has been around for a long time. It's food, drinks and service are top notch! Definitely need to have the experience of eating here if you never have! It is so unique to Tuscaloosa, it is legendary!

This place is a fun experience. We got there at 5:30p and we waited 45 min for a table for two. They brought us whatever drink we wanted while we waited outside the building. It is a small place, so there were a lot of tables inside that were very close together and no room to wait inside. I had the Nick’s burger and added cheese with onion rings. I am really picky about my burgers and ate every bite. The onion rings were a good texture but I did not enjoy the flavor of the batter as much. We also ordered chicken gizzards, but they came out after we were almost finished with our meal. I only tried one, and I did not like the texture of them. I believe they are chewy by nature anyway. However, my husband enjoyed eating them all up. They did not charge us for the gizzards because they came out so late, so we only paid $28 for our two burgers. The wait staff was very nice and I am looking forward to visiting again.

This is hands down one of the best places to eat. The employees were so amazing and friendly. I will definitely be stopping by again.

The food is a hit and miss but more hits than misses. The service and atmosphere is amazing! Nice mom and pop feel with amazing vibes. Food is super affordable compared to other steak houses in Tuscaloosa.

Excellent food and cold beer! Onion rings appetizer, filet, and baked potato were the best I've ever had. Wasting your money paying two to three times at a fancy chophouse. Get there early and be ready to wait. The secret is out. It's well worth the wait.

Sad to share this experience because Nick's was highly recommended and we were so looking forward to it ???? We waited outside for an hour and ten minutes for a table and another hour and ten minutes at the table before I asked how much longer would our food be ready. "In two minutes" At this point we had had all we could take of the elbow to elbow seating, extremely loud talking in a very small space and other tables that came in after us receiving their food. So, we asked for our order to go ???? We were served the salad (bagged lettuce) while we were waiting???? Took our order (filet and potato) (hamburger steak and potato)and glady left. Everything was overcooked except for the rolls and they were not cooked at all???? Go at your own risk ???? and have at least 3 hours to blow!!

Maybe because we arrived just as they opened, to a full dining room, but the wait time for our food was just ridiculous. And there were PLENTY of employees working. The salads are just poured from a bag so I don’t know what took so long to get those to us (They don’t even add tomatoes). The wait for the steaks was just as long but at least we had eaten salads and weren’t starving while we waited. The taste was average, which was a surprise because I’ve come to expect superior taste from this restaurant. We got there at 5:00 and didn’t leave until 7:00. Because of this experience I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

Awesome baked potatoe, be sure to add cheese and bacon.Fillet was ok, but I prefer steak from Texas Roadhouse. STEAK KNIVES old and dull so it was hard to cut steak. next visit I want to try onion rings and. burger. FRIED gizzard 's were tough.
