This is the real deal southern cooking I grew up on. Reminds me of my grandmother's & I use her meals as a benchmark. Beef tips & rice is on point.

Cafeteria style selection of 1 meat, 3 veggies.

Hole in the wall kind of joint. This is where you eat when you want a meat-n-3 where the food is made the old fashioned way instead of someone just opening a can.

I was a witness to discriminatory behavior towards an individual in this establishment, characterized by Islamophobic remarks and a dismissive attitude towards a polite, generic greeting.

**The owner was dismissive and non responsive to the person speaking with him. The owner chased down the person and exclaimed, “ Allah does not live here ! “ and scurried away.**

Such expressions of hatred and intolerance are incompatible with the principles of respect and inclusivity that should guide any business. It was unethical, replusive, and simply bad business.

As customers, we have the right to expect an environment that upholds ethical standards and promotes positive interactions among individuals. Inclusiveness and kindness does not exude from the manager/ owner of this place. Therefore, I believe that this establishment should be held accountable for its actions and reconsider its policies and practices to ensure a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for all patrons. I am truly repulsed and abhorred. The ambiance is gloomy, lousy, and subpar anyways.

America is the land of Freedom of Speech. Remember with Freedom of Speech comes with a great responsibility and accountability.

show kindness and love to everyone everyday because you never know what they are going through and make a positive impact on someone.. whether a small or large act of kindness regardless of their background!

This is some good eats!! Love the faith on the signage in the establishment! Sweet potatoes are really a must!! Sweet folks
