As a northerner, I was blown away by the freshness of the seafood at this rural fish market. The selection was impressive and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and offered great advice on how to cook the fish. Overall, a fantastic experience.

They got some amazing steamed shrimp seasoned just right and fully cooked and juicy we will be back thank y'all for the amazing food..???????? if anyone looking for some good steamed shrimp choose Billy's seafood they are the best..

AWESOME, AWESOME seafood store! They had very reasonable prices on shrimp and fish. The workers are the best!!! The gentleman bagging the shrimp to David who filled my cooler with ice for the trip back to the rental AND loaded the cooler into the car!!! Highly recommend Billy's Seafood!!!

DON'T GO HERE! Although they come highly recommended by the locals, this is a horrible place! We got steamed shrimp that was steamed WAY TOO MUCH! I called, and they would not answer. Wasted gas and time, only to now have to change dinner plans!

After contacting them the next morning, the friendly lady said she would refund if we brought them back. So we did, and the friendly lady is now extremely RUDE! Although we did nothing wrong, whatever had frustrated her earlier, she took out on us! Other customers were shocked at her behavior!

No apology after her rude behavior or even a discussion about what happened! ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Great selection and friendly staff. Steamed shrimp was very salty and we couldn't eat it all because of the excessive salt. I'd recommend asking them to go easy on the seasoning. Fresh fish was delish. We'll be back.

Just visited a few weeks ago after a 9 year absence. I'm glad to see some things don't change much. Great, fresh shrimp at a fair price. Only $1/lb more to get them de-veined and peeled. Definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

My parents have been coming here for a few years so a group of about 10 of us went and picked up an early dinner. We bought 6 lbs of shrimp and about 30 crabs. They steamed them for us with Old Bay seasoning while we waited. It was delicious! You can of course cook it yourself and they have plenty of seafood options. The kids thought it was neat seeing all the fresh fish and shrimp too.

A busy family owned fish market that offers a great variety of seafood and more.

As snowbirds visiting the area for the first time we wanted to see Billy's Seafood for ourselves. We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised at the number of fellow snowbirds that pulled in with us.

The market is small and you are treated like family by the employees. The pungent smell of fresh caught seafood hits your as soon as you step in the door. Your first view is a wide selection of shrimp. From head-on Royal Reds to small salad size that have already had the heads removed. You can also find oysters, shrimp salad, a full line of seasonings and so much more. As for fish, they had fresh off the boat Flounder, Red Snapper and others.

In our opinion, their pricing is terrific. Royal Reds were only $7.49 lb and XX Large shrimp were $12.99 lb. They will cook the shrimp for only a $1.00 per pound, either using a plan water method or your choice of seasonings. Plus they put them on ice to cool them down and then double bag them for the trip home. Who could ask for more?!?!? Well, you can get more by having them ship your favorite seafood via next day delivery across the U.S.

While we waited for the shrimp to cook, we were entertained by one of the workers who is part of Billy's family with tales of travel and fishing in the area. He had also travel to Costa Rica and on some incredible trips.

If you want great seafood at reasonable prices and you like supporting a family owned business, then this is an easy destination for you.
