Great place to pick up any and most items: groceries to clothing, electronics to toys, home goods, etc. Has more of a selection, and a wider and more choice selection of merchandise, than any of the other Walmart locations I have been to in and around the Birmingham area!! Always has what I am looking for, however, I always come away from here with so much more than what I had planned on picking up!! It really is a Supercenter!! Very clean and friendly staff!! If you are in the area check it out! Huge location and in a shopping mall with many other shops in the same mall and area!!

I was able to get everything in the store that I needed! In one place in a riding shopping cart,I didn't have any one in the store WHOM would ask me could they assist me, good thing my daughter took me she had to do everything take the groceries to the car load them and took me home and unloaded them, never asked could they help her she had to carry my groceries and her groceries to the car because I can't lift anything over 5 to 10 pds is my limit I was in so much pain I couldn't do that. Any way I will have to go back to publix where I get excellent customer service. I don't mean l want buy anything from Walmart but I have to send someone else to buy it. You have a product in the store called No7 and Target is where my Daughter brought it for me. I am glad to know they carry it. Thanks Mrs. C Heard Pelham, Al

While this store has somewhat of a better selection of some things, many of the employees seem truly unhappy & act as if it's a huge inconvenience to help anyone. Watch out for the personal shoppers pushing the carts stacked with blue baskets - they're timed on their order picking & some of them will just about run you over. The employees in Calera seem happier & more willing to help.

Says they have several types of starter logs / fire wood in stock. Nothing besides a couple single logs on shelves. Tried asking a weird PDA worker walking holding hands with her SO and she told me to price the button that I’ve been pressing for 10 minutes to get assistance. Didn’t even stop walking to tell me. Stood there for another 10 minutes trying to no avail and without seeing anybody else that worked here. Very disappointing waste of a trip. Wouldn’t of bothered with this review if it wasn’t for the lazy employee I encountered

This has to be the most pitiful excuse for customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. No one knows what they’re doing in electronics, and they won’t even bother to page the woman that supposed to be at the desk in charge of the operation. Never seen anything like it…they offer a service, but don’t know how to execute when it’s requested. Wow. Just WOW.

i love their self checkout section

i give it a 3 because some times it's pretty messy. i also wish their trading card section wasn't right next to a checkout lane. it's hard to access because of that

Nice Walmart. Other than a few items not stocked, this store was a easy shopping. Not crowded at all on a Tuesday afternoon.

Average Walmart store. Occasional misplaced item, friendly enough employees, etc. I come here all the time; prices are decent, about average. I usually go through the self-checkout; if there are any traditional cashiers open, there is usually a long line. Store is kept fairly clean overall, and doesn't have too much trouble with being out of stock, though some items are occasionally out.
