No milkshakes anymore! On a sunny Sat the cook / owner? seemed shocked and upset that people kept coming in asking for shakes. No shakes here! He said seeming upset that we would ask. He told the last ones who asked, if anyone asked again they were done for the night. Wow. Does he not know that Hot Bite was THE place for shakes? Idk, not anymore, I guess. The burgers were pretty good. The fries Amazing!! Get the fries! Small menu options. View the usual spectacular! Just don't ask for milkshakes, whatever you do!!!

Brought a group of 8 for lunch today. Tim was amazing and handled our large and complex order with ease. The food came out together and was hot, fresh, and tasted great! Tim’s personality represented Alaska well to a group from Louisiana and Florida.

I was disappointed in every aspect of this establishment. The restrooms were atrocious, the service was sub par, the burger was mediocre. They were out of several items. The food was overpriced for the quality.

Stopped in to an old haunt for a shake and a burger, got berated by the, I guess owner, because "Do you see it on the menu, or are you blind?" WTAF

Local restaurant located in the marina. Burgers are good milkshakes of all flavors . Outside seating to watch the boats come in.

Not a lot of choices but their fries are FIRE, I will go back for the fries

Update: 2023.06.04 The place is now runned by different people and is now called The Harbor Bite. The day visited, a lot of items were not available. The chef has what it takes to make his food tasty. The Grilled Rock Fish Sandwich, fries, clam chowder was on the thin, watery side much more of a soup than a chowder, all well seasoned, tasted excellent.

Update: 2021.05.02 Ordered Fish N' Chips two of the cod were stuck frying together, crust was golden, crunchy, fish was tasty. Also ordered Mush-on Chicken, the first part of the chicken was moist, juicy, but eating into the latter part was overcooked, dry. No malt vinegar, nor salt available. Cashier was having difficulty operating the register while we waited. Coffee is available, ask for it without creamer, else they only fill it about 3/4 full, and the creamer the time before this was non-dairy. Don't expect much here for their service.

Update: came in June 2020, ordered Fish n' Chips USD 13.5, the fish was moist, tasty.

Update: came here May 2020, opened allowing two persons inside at a time to order. The time they taken to get our order out was the fastest, about ten minutes, usually it takes them at least 50 minutes. We ordered the Halibut cheek Samich, as it's unusual to be able to order that, but it was rubbery, not good. The fries are not crispy, but for three dollars, it's their best value. They have coffee but have French Vanilla creamer, so if you don't like flavored creamer, take it without it or ask before you order their coffee.

Warning: allow 50 minutes for your food order, at least I noticed a written sign in 2018, something that is known if you ordered from them before.

The food quality not to our liking. The grilled cod wasn't very good, but better than the Thai peanut chicken sandwich, the chicken was dry, but I couldn't get pass the spiciness, after inquiring if it was spicy before ordering. Fries were not crispy, limpy, uninspiring. Shakes were way overly sweet for my taste.

On a another visit, the grilled cod was good, but got no coffee refill as they ran out and wouldn't make a fresh batch with attitude about bothering them about it. Service was always very slow but now with attitude.
