Trying to fool the public with 2 for 1 sales. 9.98 a pound pot spar ribs. So 4.50 on the great deal. Go to Costco. 3.29 every day.
Chicken thighs 3.29 a pound.
1.49 at Costco. Why shop at Fred’s?

Fred Meyer is a zombie like most retail recently. Paying slave-wages to an ever shrinking labor pool and throwing over-priced food in the dumpster so that shareholders may benefit was never sustainable. Now empty shelves, long lines, charges for cash withdrawal, mandatory use of club card to sell your info, increased security, no baskets, locking carts..all trying to squeeze the last dollar from it's dying corpse. I would say it has turned into a sad, depressing place but perhaps it always has been and we just enjoyed pretending it was ok.

This is like a one stop shop. Grocery store with normal grocery store stuff, deli, fresh and organic produce, household cleaners, pet supplies and everything in between. Home goods, clothes, toys, light bulbs, paint, sportswear, camping, car repair, garden, books, furniture, luggage and so much more. They have a pharmacy as well as a bank and liquor store. And the app itself is great.

My mate thought he spotted an in stock Playstation 5 for me. I had him wait in line to get a pricing while I ran the logistics on my end. Turns out there was never a PS5 in stock, and that it was just an empty box as a “teaser.” Yeah, it’s certainly teasing everyone who doesn’t have a PS5.

I have been trying to purchase a set of headphones and a PlayStation at this particular store for around seven weeks. I have spent $4000 in the electronics department and still at this point I cannot receive any help. It's always the same guy working there who has the same level of making no attempt to look up or help me find any of the items they are supposed to be selling. All cabinets are empty if you're looking for anything made by Sony, Bose, or Xbox. I understand there are supply chain issues boss considering how long I've been trying to purchase these items and that they are not competent enough to have a waiting list it's starting to feel like he is enjoying selling these to other people. It's the only electronic store I ever been in in this lovely country that does not want money as a matter of fact it's the opposite they do not want to sell you anything it's more of that test to see how much they can disappoint you in the electronics department. The rest of the store is so solid you could stand on it

Go a little further to Safeway. I bought a $7 piece of carrot cake my favorite. I stuck a fork in and it was so dry and old it crumbled. A lot of stuff isn't priced but don't look for help. They're really short staffed. Help is scarce.
