Must-do experience in Juneau. The views are amazing and the best you can get around. There's a gift shop and restaurant at the top as well as several trails you can do. The trails have great views all the way and if you're able set aside some time for them.

The tram is located in downtown Juneau port. It was a quick ride to top with easy access. You can ride unlimited throughout the day. There is a restaurant that has great chowder & fish tacos. The gift shop is big & offers local art. The trail has nice views.

It isn’t cheap , but if your intention is to have an amazing view, this is the place.
Your tkt lasts for one day.
So, go more than once!
The walking path is wet and slippery, so good shoes ( no tennis, Booths! ) and if you have a walking sticks it will brig comfort.
In my opinion, paying $50 per person could offer ropes at the trail path that’s the only reason I didn’t gave 5 stars.

Goldbelt Tram is a great way to see Juneau Alaska. The view to the top of the mountain is very picturesque, and the history show on the top of the mountain is incredible. You will have an amazing view, as well as delve into the local culture. I highly recommend this tram/tour.

This gives you a great view of the valley and is completely worth the $50 cost. Lines can get long, so go as early as possible or wait a little for the lines to die down. We saw an entire family of bald eagles nesting on the mountain next to the tram.

Average. Might be overpriced. But you have to do it if in Juneau. Make sure you have time! The lines just to get up on top range from 15 min to over an hour. And once you get on top, make sure to note the length of the line and how many people are up there too. And what time you have Tobe back at your ship. Lines down usually are 30 min to hour wait

The Tram was previously called the Mt. Roberts Tramway and has been renamed the Goldbelt Tram. The fee is for an all day pass if you wish to ride again. The ride up and down the mountain is very nice and it is quick. The views of the city, the water and the snow capped mountains are spectacular. There is a nice gift shop at the top that is very large and also a nice restaurant. There is also a free movie theater with a movie about the Tlingit people. The host of the movie theater is of Tlingit descent and he is very talkative and friendly and kind. We enjoyed our time very much. All employees are very friendly and cheerful. There is a free parking lot designated for the Goldbelt Tram about a 5 minute walk further down the road across the street.

Some of the best pictures I have taken while in Alaska. Go and see.the 15 minute viewing about the history of the Indians in the area. Worth the time.
