Definitely one of the best services on Fort Wainwright. Friendly staff and hours of operation make it available for Soldiers working late or pulling late night shifts. They recently streamlined the check out line so there is one line that feeds into all the available cashiers. Has significantly cut the time it takes to get in and out. Would be nice if other facilities on this post followed their example.

In & out in a hurry... especially in the bitter cold of winter!

Friendly staff; clean & well stocked restrooms; the store is well stocked good supply of snacks & Class VI items.... and their fuel hasn't run out yet, during my time here at Fort Wainwright. Decent quality diesel fuel and gasoline. Plenty of pumps from which to top off your tank (but only 4 diesel pumps).

This is your typical military PX Express, offering most of the essentials that Soldiers on-the-go might need to get them through the day/week.

Went in the shoppette around 2:50 11/08/21 to get snacks with my kids. My 14 year old daughter was in front of me and she looked back to see where I was and as I was going around her the lady working at the counter with her long nails hanging out her gloves started banging her hand on the counter and said hurry up I have someone waiting for me outside and I know it’s cold. Super unprofessional and I even went back inside and told someone. I understand 3 people called out but you do not bang on the counter at people to hurry up!

Says its closes at 12 but I'll be going at 10 and the doors lare ocked. Then I get looked at like go away. Always has one or two cashier's working. Lines are long, gas pumps sometimes dont work and have to drive to another one. Employees are usually nice but you can diffently get a rude or grumpy one.

I was treated very bad for not knowing the mask requirement, could have offered me a mask but instead i politely set my food and coffee down and came back inside 50 sec later with a mask on and the employee had already trashed my stuff and was trying to avoid me until i asked where it went and then asked if they trashed it.... literally 50 seconds. He said no sorry no nothin just careless, he will work minimum wage for the rest of his life unfortunately acting this way. His loss not mine.

Large store. Has a normal coffee and hot food section, as well as a subway inside. This also houses the post liquor store (Class6). Fairly impressive selection for the size of the post. Beer, wines, bourbon, rum, etc. Large brands and a few small batch/micro brew.
