We dropped in for a quick lunch. Really enjoyed the bacon cheese burger, the fried leeks made this special. The patty was nice, and well cooked on a good quality bun. They had an outstanding salmon chowder - creamy with delicious chunks of salmon. The fries were really good, unfortunately they coat them in a sweet bbq sauce seasoning that tastes similar to what you find on potato chips. The fries are so naturally tasty they just don’t need that extra seasoning, it became tiring halfway through the meal. Service is fast and friendly. There’s a nice seating option in a sunroom, but we found the place a bit too loud and opted for one of two picnic tables outside. The picnic tables are essentially in the driveway to the parking lot, but it was much quieter.

From reading previous reviews, our expectations for this establishment were quite high. Although not terrible, our experience certainly did not live up to what we were hoping for.
For starters, the service was not quite up to par. The lady taking our order seemed quite annoyed to be doing so and, upon asking how our burgers would be cooked, we were told "on the grill." Perhaps we should have clarified temperature, but that answer seemed quite silly.
As for the food, we were pleasantly surprised how expediently the meal arrived, but were slightly stunned by how small the burgers ended up being. The quality was so-so, but I would not say the small portions were worth the somewhat high cost. The fries were pretty good, although extremely salty.
Overall, this spot was a not horrible, yet not great experience, that we probably won't find a need to revisit.

Absolutely delicious food. We got the Smoked Salmon sliders and the Union Chez Burger, both of which were fantastic. The addition of leeks to the burger was a great choice. The atmosphere was also a great escape from the dreary outside we came from.

Adorable place, well staffed, great service.
The shrimp in the shrimp tacos ($17) had a curry flavor and were cooked perfectly. I was not a fan of the homemade corn tortillas (street taco style). The flavor was okay but they were soggy and felt a bit clunky. The pico didn't feel fresh but the whole assembly was better with the provided cabbage and lime.
I chose the chips with salsa and guac for a side ($3). The salsa had a nice smoky flavor and the lightly salted chips (also freshly made) were delicious. The chips might have been my favorite part of the meal. I'm usually a big fan of guacamole but the guac was a miss for me.
Still, an A for effort. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought and work into the place. Who knows, I might stop back by to try the salmon sliders, I hear they're good.

Just passing through, stopped here and had some amazing halibut tacos. The fries are super addictive as well

Their salmon slider and beef and barley soup were amazing. Wife almost cried because this was one of the only places we have been to that accommodated for her dietary needs. 10/10 would recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their food is fantastic and people are great! They also offer a great gluten free menu. We have two with celiacs and the staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We will definitely keep eating here!

We are in town visiting from SC. This place was recommended by our airbnb host. It was delicious ????, fresh, and clean. We got the empanadas, salad with chicken, and burger. So filling!
