The food is amazing, I have no issues with their service either. However, when you just opened your doors and your bathrooms are absolutely disgusting.. that is what concerns me….

My husband and I stopped into Irashai Japanese Restaurant at the end of our travels in Fairbanks. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We ordered hot green tea, miso soup, tuna nigiri, spicy teriyaki, chicken yakisoba, and a spicy fire roll. All of the food was great. The fire roll was fun! Glad we stopped in. Great way to bookend our trip.

I was excited to go here but the service was awful so we left. I wanted to replace shrimp for fried tempura fish but the waitress said its too expensive and she wouldn't do it even though I told her I have an allergy and I can't eat shrimp. She said it's $4 extra charge but we kept saying it was fine but she kept on talking back and was being condescending because I wanted protein in my meal and I could literally die from shrimp. She was also telling me how the tempura shrimp is different shrimp. Regardless of the type of shrimp I am still allergic to it? We called to talk to the owner just to let him know, but he says he's going to stand behind his waitress which is great. Im not sure what she told him to cover herself but if a customer is telling you that the waitress is telling people not to buy it because it's "expensive" even though they are willing to get charged extra, that's a loss of profit. Won't be coming here again. Be aware if you have allergies.

By far the first place I've visited in the area with a real international take on sushi - like the places you find in Asia or Europe!
Phenomenal flavor with a perfect mix of traditional and new school sushi techniques, incredible plate display, and the menu showcased entree names that were fun and adventurous. I had the Las Vegas and was really impressed by the quality of everything mentioned above, as well as the fact this dish is fried and it was a perfect crunch factor without tasting overly saturated in frying grease.
I give it 9.5 out of 10.

Excellent little sushi restaurant! Great service, friendly staff and quick service. These food artists take pride in their work and it shows in their presentation and more importantly in the flavor. Fair prices and they deliver. I eat here often.

I tried this place today for the first time and got the beef ramen and it had MAYBE a tablespoon of broth and was upper spicy. For $19 a bowl I expected way better. I am extremely disappointed. Also looks nothing like the pictures.
