Went for the fourth of July celebration. Was fun. Enjoyed getting out of the house and enjoying. Ate at the Russian food cart and had some pink cotton candy (my favorite). The live band was very good.

Great spot for a road race. We had a beautiful view from the starting line, see photos, for the 5 miler.

This park is always kept clean, the tables, benches, Rent-A-Cans and garbage bins kept clean & in good repair and the grounds are always well kept.
Overall, a great place to fly kites, play frisbee, catch, tag and such with kids friends & family or fetch with your dog.

Nice park and memorial. I went to the fourth of July festival here. It was full of good food, music and great people. The park is huge and has a nice view of the mountains. Very conveniently located. The memorial has statues flowers and honors lost Alaskans in each of the wars the United States was involved in.

Went for a quick mush today to kick off the dog racing season. Its so fun and a true Alaskan tradition. Ill definitely go again!

I happen to live right on the Delaney park strip, which used to be the actual landing strip for all aircraft coming into Anchorage years ago. Its a huge park of perfect greenery next to Downtown. Always hosting activities during the Summer, including car shows, free yoga sessions (100's attend), fireworks, food trucks, tai-chi, etc.
