We are buying a home in Casa Grande and decided to eat at the Hideout Steakhouse on Thursday August 17 2023.
It's a combo bar and restaurant, rustic interior. Lets get to the food!
We both ordered the prime rib with cream corn. The prime rib is moist and with a touch of smoke, in other words DELICIOUS!
I have never had cream corn like this, it's served in a small bowl and in a creamy sauce that is DELICIOUS!
Any meal can be good, but our waitress was absolutely incredible. She helped us get to know the place, was filling our drinks, she let us try the burnt ends and gave us a taste of her favorite sauce.
That made a huge difference-great food, great service!
Thank You!
UPDATE, we went back a few days later and it was still awesome, thank you Kim and Hilda!

Another yummy satisfying dinner! The peach clobber was so good, but very sweet. Depending on the person it could be too sweet… still add ice cream on top! ????

Disappointing….. our under table area had food and trash on the floor as we were seated so we asked to have it cleared up. The server was good but busy as she had the area and it was getting filled up as the time went on that we had to keep reminding her for the things that we didn’t have or had asked for. Our food arrived, small portions to other steak houses and it wasn’t hot - the plate and steak was warmish but the sides and fries were not even warm - I cannot abide cold or warm food so sent it back and it was returned the same luke warm state - I think the just microwaved the steak. So for the second time it went back and our server came back with a new plate of hot sides … my other guests had finished eating by now so we called it a day.

Took the Wifey out to dinner here for the 1st time.

When we arrived, the place seemed already busy (6pm-ish), walked through the door and was kindly greeted and immediately put on a waitlist for the next table. About 26 minutes was the expected wait time.
We proceeded to walk around the area checking out the other businesses and in just under the 25 minute mark, we got the text our table was ready for us.

They sat us towards the back left corner from the entrance, this is when I noticed some of the decor more in detail, something the likes of crackle barrel if I might add.

Food wise, I ordered the New York Steak w/ Side of Beans and French Onion Soup.
The fresh bread and butter options were DELICIOUS and paired perfectly with the Onion Soup. The Steak itself came out with the side of beans but on first impression, it looked a little bit "lonely". Just seemed to be missing something. Taste wise it was great, no problems there: cooked medium well as ordered and rather tender as I cut into it.
The beans I wasn't too crazy about. They were good mind you, just abit on the acidic side of things.

The Wifey ordered the Mango Salad with Salmon.
From first glance, it looked like any other normal salad out there: a mix of cut lettuce with added dressing and some sliced salmon on top. Nothing really impressing.
She did like the flavors however and that's what matters.

All that said, I must emphasize our servers incredible attention to customer service. He was super attentive to our needs, kept our water glasses full and made sure we were taken care of. We walked outta there as the place got only busier with a full belly and smiles on our faces.

Will stop by in the near future once more to try out their Peach Cobbler.

We were staying at a hotel in Phoenix and drove to Casa Grande to visit our son. He recommended that we go here. We were greeted by a couple of younger people who seemed confused. We asked for a table outside and were seated, then forgotten, for almost 20 minutes. I thought that was crazy because it wasn't busy at all, 3:45. We were getting ready to walk out when Amy showed up. She was wonderful. The meat sampler appetizer was great. Brisket was good. Margaritas were good. Everything went well after the initial disappointment. Might want to have a chat with the kids who are seating customers. Amy saved our table and a nice tab for the restaurant. Just saying.

Visiting from Alaska, first time dining here and our server’s name was Hilda. The food was phenomenal but even better Hilda’s service was extraordinary. To say that she was the embodiment of customer service would be no stretch! My wife and Father chose to use the hot stones to cook their ribeye steaks to their liking! The texas twinkies with the cactus dip from the chips is AMAZING! Will definitely be dining here again before returning home!

Yummy place but felt overpriced. Meals were around $20 we got a fish and a tuna, they were just okay, nothing to write home about. The burgers did look good.
Took 20 minutes for someone to come to the table and take our order, and another 35 for food to arrive. Didn’t seem too busy either. Very clean and nice place though. Great for groups.

This place is so good! We went out with family and my husband and I decided to share the tomahawk steak, it was such a fun thing to do! Getting the hot stone to cook the steak was so much fun. There was definitely enough food for both of us.
