Store was very clean, staff very friendly ready to assist. Meat and produce great. Healthy looking meat. Bakery and delicious very up to date and clean. Very pleasant market. I do go there for cultural reasons Mexican products. You can not find in other markets. Good parking under shade. Good amount of handicapped parking.

Gotta love food city ???? bit better deals than fry's, they have a big pack of them chicken thighs! For around $20 nice deal, for a big family... peace and prosperity to all. Oh yeah the also sell orange pepper ???? seasoning. Too good! It's definitely worth a go.

I have a complaint for one of the hot food employee at 1162 E Florence blvd casa grande, AZ 85122 #21. 6/3/23 at 14:41pm. My mother ordered 2 menudos with talia who was extremely rude ( when my mother ask if there was still menudo she didn’t respond and used the ladle to move around the menudo). While she was cooking the tortillas, talia was visited by another employee who handed her a document. Talia then left the area and came back when another employee arrived and Talia left to the far end of the hot food area to chat with that other employee and did not return to assist my mom for 15 minutes. Another worker arrived and attempted to help my mom and my mom paid for the food but was not given her food. That worker then asked Talia if she had the menudo and Talia yelled to my mother!!! “I already gave you the menudo and pozole and tortillas”. My mother said no you didn’t. She yelled again the same thing and the other worker pointed to where the food was and Talia proceeded to SNATCH the tortillas, menudo and roughly bag them and tossed it to my mom. My mom asked for her name so she may complain about this unprovoked encounter and Talia response was “it’s Talia, like the actress, want me to write it down??” Absolutely no need to treat my mother this way!! For whatever reason she decided to take it out on my mother is absolutely horrid and Talia should not be working customer service since she obviously does not have the professionalism to do so. My mother felt threaten on how the employee approached my mother in a aggressive way and being tossed hot soup at her. If I don’t get contacted to rectify this issue I will take legal action toward food city and TALIA personally!

I didn't have the best experience at the deli. The picture of the "burritos" is misleading and shows two in the menu. I inquired about what meats were included in the burrito combo and was happy to learn that there were many! Although they were out of carne asada and hamburger beef, I went with the chicken and a special type of beef option. When the girl rang it up to being at 19.00+ I was surprised and the cashier went to get the manager. After explaining the confusion and discussing the misleading nature of both the menu and the cashier's mistake answering my questions about what meats were available. The manager basically glared and stated that there's never been that combo and that "burritos" and the accompanying menu picture signified 1 burrito. So, I chose the one I wanted after I realized that they were approaching this like it was my error and left. I won't be returning to this store.

I love this store, it’s my go to for produce and mexican cooking items like queso fresco and crema. But the other day I decided to grab one of those Naked smoothies and got so sick after. When I checked the label, it said: Enjoy by 20 Jan 2023. Almost 2 months expired. Really lousy mistake as far as quality control. I bought it March 4th. I really couldn’t get myself to give 1 star as I really like this store… But I hope you guys read this and start checking your juices, especially the ones that include dairy.

Clean, organized and beautiful. This grocery store is wonderful. I loved my first visit, and I'm sure it won't be the last. We got some supplies for Memorial Day weekend. I'm glad we discovered this gem of a store.

We moved to Casa Grande 2 years ago, and this was the most affordable store in town, but not anymore! Now it is the most expensive store in town! And the inside has gone down hill and looks unkempt and unclean, as does the outside of the building, and the parking lot. Ex: I can go to Walmart and get a quart of whipping cream for under $5. But here in Food City, that same size is $8.29. OMG...this is just one example of how pricey they are here. We will not return to this store ever again. They need to clean up the store and lower their prices....the place has turned into a real dump, sad to say.
