I really like sunny side up eggs, but almost no one can cook them right. But Mel's were PERFECT. Friendly service. Great food. Don't let the outside looks fool you, this is some really good breakfast! Not a huge menu, but what they do have is done right. Will definitely be back for lunch.

Crispy hash browns,biscuits and sausage gravy,eggs over easy, French toast,and ham were all done to perfection.Friendly staff,and if you Like small place atmosphere and good biscuits, this is your place.

On trip Texas to Ohio and back, we went off the interstate a ways to have breakfast here because I like to kinda stay away from the chain restaurants for the most part. Uncle had biscuits and gravy and cleaned the plate! They were out of pork chops and chicken fried steak, but the sausage was very good, the eggs cooked perfectly and the hash browns were the best I've had in a very long time! Nice and crispy! Waitress was very nice and from Texas!????

THE best burger in hot springs!! Very reasonable prices! I have been about 3 times in the past month and have not had a bad experience yet.

We LOVE Mel's! They have, by far, the best French dip/Philly cheesesteak sandwiches around! Burgers, fish, salads, are all great too! Great customer service, too!

The server was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu items, she checked on us regularly. The food was cooked to perfection, every item. And the pricing was great for the portion sizes.

One of the best burger and Cajun fries combos you can get around Hot Springs. Some people talk about Ohio Clubs burger, but it doesn’t compare to the ones I’ve gotten from Mel’s. I’m gonna work on trying out the many other items on their menu as soon as I can. It’s worth the trip to the outskirts of town for the great food they have to offer.

No highchair for a 2 yr old . Not easy and so many flies its hard to enjoy food when your fighting flies while trying to eat
