I'm sorry to say my experience with Jason did not go well. He pulled my motor and sent the long block out for a rebuild and new heads charging $2,717.52 to just pull it and reinstall it - Not rebuild it. The charge also included new transmission coolant lines and a transmission modulator. The rebuild was done and paid to a 3rd party. Took 3 1/2 months account it was sent to Shreveport although it could have been rebuilt locally. When he said it was ready and I picked it up I found braking was low to none on drive home. Hadt to stop and buy brake fluid.
Apparently a leaking wheel cylinder had drained the brake fluid while it was at Jason's shop. The rebuilt motor ran poorly, rough and little power. Motor started blowing black smoke out of the exhaust.
Found the intake manifiold had never been torqued down and it was sucking air and oil out of the heads. Also discovered the throttle linkage was misadjusted and missing parts. Transmission was starting in reverse - not neutral because he had messed up the shift linkage. Transmission started slipping a few weeks later. When he had replaced the transmission coolant lines he had never separated them and where they rubbed the new lines now had holes leaking fluid.
After torquing down the intake manifold the motor ran better but, still wasn't right. Found that none of the spark plugs were tight. All had heavy carbon blowby from being loose and one was almost out of the hole completely. In addition, he had installed the valve covers on the wrong heads (They're reversible) so he had the spark plug wire loom mounts in the rear instead of the front. My spark plug wires were numbered and he had just slapped them on any plug so the numbers were useless. I had sent him a text earlier but, he never responded. I didn't take it back because I didn't want him anywhere near my car or motor! The engine rebuilder in Shreveport did a good job - Jason at Tri-City screwed everything up on reinstalling it! Since then I've heard other horror stories about him. It's like he loses interest in the job after he starts it! Use at your own risk!

I first took my car to him for a new ac install. I would rate that experience a 4/5. There he gained my trust. Fast forward to the next job he did for me and if I could rate lower than one star, he'd get a -10/5. Why? I left my boat there to get it winterized. Over the fall/winter, I called several times and he never returned my calls. Whenever I came to the area, he was never there. I finally got ahold of him on the phone and he said he'd been trying to contact me which was not true. That call ended with the understanding that he was to get back with me about how much I owed him. I heard nothing from him so again, I ring him up numerous times over a period of months and finally get him on the phone. He tells me "he filed on it" to gain ownership not having heard from me! He assured me "we'll get you your boat" over and over throughout the call. Again, he's supposed to call me back with what I owe him and I hear nothing! Whatever you do, if you live out-of-town do not leave your property with this guy because this could happen to you.

We take all our vehicles, off road vehicles, wave runners, boats, for servicing and repair to Tri-City Auto. The owner is one of the best and most honest in the business. I wouldn't take them to anyone else. He's even diagnosed a problem over the phone. Years of experience!

Will take your money, not repair your vehicle, will close a business and leave your vehicle abandoned. Don’t believe me check his past auto shops in Lonoke and Stuttgart.
