We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Little Red Restaurant for lunch, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember. The delightful ambiance, impeccable service, and mouthwatering cuisine left an indelible mark on my taste buds.

To start off, we must rave about the club sandwich my husband had at the Little Red Restaurant—he said it was hands down the best he’d ever had. The sandwich was expertly crafted, with layers of perfectly roasted turkey, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all nestled between slices of toasted bread. Prior to the menu change this past spring, I would have given this place a five star rating. Unfortunately, the quality of service and food went way down along with the choices on the new and limited menu.

In our recent visit the waitress took our order, promised that our appetizer would come out before the main entrees, and left. Almost 19 minutes later we went looking for her, cancelled the appetizer and asked for refills. She next brought out the appetizer we’d cancelled and immediately next, the entrees. When she brought requested refills she didn’t remember what was what and our sodas were all mixed up. Next, a grilled cheese and ham sandwich was discovered to have no ham. Tracked her down a second time and told her. She returned with 2 pieces of ham on a plate and actually picked a piece up with her bare hand and offered to somehow install it on the melted together cheese sandwich. We asked for the manager but nobody came. We then went to leave and checkout. We ran into a waiter who we told of our experience and he removed the appetizer and sandwich from our bill. We do not recommend this restaurant.

We decided to have brunch here after my father-in-law's funeral. Food was very good and the chef accommodated all of our breakfast requests even though we were right at the cutoff time. The waitress helping with drinks couldn't have been nicer and she was great. The other waitress was rude and belligerent. We were told to start using our heads when we were trying to figure out whose order was what when one of them was incorrect, that we didn't know how to make reservations properly and generally just snarky comments the entire time. Definitely a people person, NOT! She would have better skills working at the DMV. As stated food was great, service was great from most of the staff. Will probably go again but will request to be seated at someone else's section.

Surprisingly affordable (and tasty) food for a golf club ????super delicious French Dip sandwich we will definitely bring going back for! Fairly priced glass of wine (huge thank you for that!) so that I was able to have 2 glasses for the same price as 1 glass from most other regular restaurants! Quite a treat! Good little salad bar with delicious potato salad and super friendly wait staff. Makes you feel right at home. BEAUTIFUL mountain views from larger dining room. A wonderful way to end a fun filled day at Fairfield Bay!

We were really looking forward to eating here but sadly turned out to be a not so good experience. The wait staff was…. Well let’s just say not the right job for them. We overheard the other table being told that it was going to take her a bit on the drinks because she isn’t very fast at making them. We were a table of 2 and they had 12 people. We arrived before they did. They got their drinks before we did and started getting their food before we did. When their food started coming out, it was brought out 1 or 2 plates at a time. Then one of the waitresses came over to let me know that she had dropped my plate on the floor and it was being remade. My husband ordered the “chops” which if you read on is really only a CHOP and my chicken fried steak was a hamburger patty and the veggie with my meal was out so they substituted and hoped it was ok without checking with me 1st, so they basically put some stuff on my plate that luckily I was ok to eat. Both were served on a salad plate not a dinner plate but they definitely charge for a dinner portion. They were out of a lot of stuff so options were limited anyway. Nothing more than a glorified concession stand. If you want fine dining this is not the place to go. Definitely not worth the $$$. Very disappointed…

Waitress took great care of us. Checking on us several times, keeping our drinks full. View was nice, though the deck would be awesome if it wasn’t 90% humidity outside.

Food was lackluster though. Cheese curds were borderline over cooked, very crunchy. And while the burgers had a good flavor they felt and looked frozen or pre-formed. Very small portion of fries. Sadly, there was basically nothing else open within a half hour or so.

Surprisingly delicious dinner at this small golf clubhouse. Our waitress, Nicole (or Nickle) was friendly and efficient. We had the 10 oz. Sirloin and Chicken Fresca. Both were perfectly cooked and the grilled vegetables were nicely seasoned. Drink and meal prices were reasonable. It was a pleasant evening to enjoy the outdoor patio. Glad we chose to eat here!

They had a band playing which was nice, but the rest of our experience here was not great. The food took forever to get to us. They said they were busy but it didn't seem too busy. Two of us ordered steaks. Only difference in the two orders was one was medium, the other medium rare. The steak was at least half fat, and we ordered the same sides but we each got different things The chicken Alfredo was watered down with not much flavor. The Bloody Mary's were good.
