The best hush puppies you’ll likely ever have. I’m of the opinion that it doesn’t even matter if you are a fan of hush puppies or not, the ones at Catfish Hole are so good that you’ll like them regardless. Staff even refill them for you.

Although also known for catfish, I strongly recommend the fried shrimp - it is very good.

This is one of the pricier restaurants in Fayetteville, be prepared to spend a bit more than you might elsewhere. But the food and the experience are worth it!

I’m blown away at this place! After my first visit, I’m counting down the days until we go again. This became an instant top 5 restaurant in NWA for me.

First and foremost…the food was incredible. We got peel and eat chilled shrimp as an appetizer and they tasted fresh and flavorful. For the catfish, every bite was delicious. It’s filling, affordable, and tasty. The French fries were also a huge hit for me and I devoured them quickly.

The second thing I have to mention is the staff and the way they do things here. I was shocked at how awesome they have it down…A handful of employees would lap around the dining room with new plates of fixens, sweet tea and water pitchers, and to-go boxes. My drink didn’t get below an inch from the top the entire 45 minutes we sat down. Never in my life have I been to a restaurant like this which instantly won me over.

This place is awesome and so good. Even if you KINDA like catfish, I’m sure this will impress you.

The customer service was great. Very attentive. The hush puppies were the freshest I've ever had and tastes great (I'm not really a hush puppy person but these might have changed my mind) and the coleslaw had good taste. The fried catfish was decent with the fresh lemon, but fries were a big greasy. Overall good experience.

Wonderful family owned restaurant that is a staple in the community. The catfish is on point and is since of the best you can have. Their fruit pies are exceptional. They are only not served on Friday and Saturday. Of course, they serve sweet tea and other southern traditional items. Finally, they provide hushpuppies like chips, all you can eat for free!!

The hush puppies were some of the best I have ever eaten. Not heavy or greasy but light and delicious with a unique flavor. Catfish and fixins were good making this a worthwhile stop for lunch

Catfish Hole is a landmark restaurant in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Come for the catfish. Stay for the side dishes! All the food is amazing. Large parties are welcome and no problem to accommodate 20+ people.
I had the grilled Cajun catfish, others had fried catfish fillers and chicken. Just a few leftovers which are easy to reheat at home.
The hushpuppies, coleslaw and green tomato relish are served first with drinks. And if you eat all of it, there's always more coming.
The service is always amazing with multiple servers helping each other clean, serve food and refill drinks.
Highly recommend you put this restaurant on your list on your next visit to Razorback country.

I am not a real big fan of catfish, however a couple of times a year I do like to eat it. So I typically have high expectations of the catfish when I do eat it so keep that in mind. First I have to say the wait staff was excellent. It was a very busy day and they were very friendly and they all seem to help one another keep everyone's drink full. As far as the food, I was a bit disappointed, it was decent enough, but it was a rather lengthy wait, and although the fish wasn't cold it wasn't hot either. The french fries were a bit undercooked. But overall a passable meal. Perhaps the the kitchen staff was having an off day.

I love Catfish Hole. We drive about 30 miles to eat there several times a year. However, lately, the catfish size has been very small. I asked the waitress today if my catfish was a normal 5 piece portion size and she said yes, and didn't offer to get another piece. So, I have to give a low rating now.

Hush puppies were excellent as always.
