Started out rough. Can't recommend any of the items on the Sweet list, they are reheated not made fresh. But the Breakfast was great. I had the wrapped egg with the yogurt parfait. We also had the biscuits and gravy with potatoes, the chicken and waffle, and the loaded waffle. Everything was yummy. The coffee is onyx and we enjoyed the vanilla latte and the hot chocolate. I would recommend this place for breakfast, sans the sweet treats.

I was .making a surprise visit to NWA with my son and decided to try a new place to eat. One reason we picked Southern Food Company is with a little driving through the Walmart Parking lot we could enter and leave at a stoplight.
The atmosphere was not what we expected. I would say it was a little less granny's place and more southern city comfort. There was only one waitress most of the time we were there for lunch and she did an exceptional job if keeping up with everything as the restaurant continued filling.
I chose a lunch special, 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad. I went with the turkey in both, a very wise choice. It was smoked and so tasty I put some from the salad aside to eat alone later. This time I did take pictures because it was so beautifully served, I remembered. My son was more traditional. He had the chicken strip and fries with honey mustard. The honey mustard was so good I considered asking if they sold it by the bottle.
Price as expected for the conditions we found. I am posting a photo of the Ladies as it was in keeping with the atmosphere.
I definitely recommend Southern Food!

This trendy spot is centrally located in Fayetteville and has a great breakfast and lunch menu. I haven't tried them yet for brunch and dinner but I want to. They serve Onyx coffee and their S'mores latte is amazing! I love their salads, chicken fried steak, sandwiches, and soup. Their desserts are on my must try list for my next visit. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is food and service are sometimes slow and they get pretty busy on the weekends.

Went here for brunch with a group of 8, including 2 toddlers, and was able to get a seat quickly. Service was great as well as the food. I got a cold brew, eggs benedict, and a coffee cake. Delicious way to start a sunday! Highly recommend.

It was a great atmosphere. The water was very drinkable and the food was seasoned, crisped, n cooked to perfection…. The prices were up there. But you get what you pay for.

Omg, the food is so good. I went back 3 days straight to try different things on the menu. The salmon lox is soooo freaking good.

We have frequented Southern Food Co for a while and always enjoyed our time there. We have tried lunch and brunch foods and enjoyed both! I like their chicken fried steak and biscuits. Altime fav is the sweet thing (?) biscuit. My husband loves their bloody Mary's!

I have not been impressed by their side dishes (potatoes or fruit) and the water they serve always tastes kind of gross. This is redeemed by the fact they serve onyx coffee and tea lattes which are amazing!

Atmosphere is nice and clean. Nothing terribly unique but they do sell local artwork and have a wall of it, which I really like!

Wow!!!! Best place to eat here in Arkansas!! I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and side salad! Emory my waiter was so attentively fast and so respectful he deserves the best customer service award!! The food was so fresh everything to the tomatoes in the salad. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out.
