Being someone who's from a different state and has lived off Publix my whole life never did I expect to continue to have the worst experience ever at the most busiest Publix in my eyes because it's the college Zone Publix but the lady that's in the deli and is actually over black women seems to come off very racist and since this is not my first time in the store making this complaint about how as a supervisor she doesn't do her job she doesn't get on the line with the people to help she literally acts like she's not there today was my last draw of people being rude and not doing their job and I totally feel like if you don't like your job change it go somewhere else but don't make good customers not want to shop with the company because they're allowing unnecessary stuff to continue to go on and I specify this Publix in general because this was the same Publix where I came in with my Afro and a manager in the deli area ask me what I had going on with my hair I said excuse me and because it made me feel some type of way I reported it but I don't feel like I should have to go through this every time I go into this specific Publix today I talked to the store manager Miss Tiffany and she was very helpful she actually made me feel really good after the whole incident I know big corporations don't care about the little people but just to give you a heads up it's all the little people that keep you guys in business

Don't let the size of the store fool you, it's a smaller Publix but it has everything you need , I got fresh bread ,a birthday cake (which was very fresh and tasty) they had a wide variety of wines. We were visiting there for our anniversary and this Publix had everything we needed and more the workers were very nice and helpful. A great store to get everything you need

What happened to your bakery/produce staff? I run a restaurant in walking distance and spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars every month. The next time I am disrespecred and treated like a nuisance for needing a product that your slow, lazy staff neglected to stock in a timely manner I will be taking my business elsewhere. The girl stocking fruit at 12:30pm today should be fired. I have always been okay with paying a little more at Publix compared to other grocery stores because the staff has always been superior. You're losing that advantage and will lose my business if it is not rectified. Manage your staff, fire those that can't even fake a smile or speak when a customer asks a simple question.

I went to Publix to buy some coffee for a Resident I take care of. It was about 20 minutes until closing. I walk in and there are 4 or 5 employees sitting around doing nothing. It was almost closing time so I understood that. However, when I went to pay with cash, only the self check outs were open. And they only accept cash. There were several employees that could have opened a register but did not. This was the second time I've went to this particular Publix and wasn't able to check out due to card purchases only. The employees act like they're entitled and holier than thou. I just wanted to say that not everyone has Daddy's credit card to purchase items. Please have a way to purchase with cash!! This only goes for the Publix on the strip. I love all the other ones!!

Forget all the commercials they run about the great customer service in the deli. It's just as slow and bad as a typical fast food place. Employees who don't know the procedures, multiple employees standing around joking when customers are waiting in line. The one star is for the fried chicken, which was good as always. But don't go if you are in a hurry.

Great location for picking up groceries and supplies while going to the University of Alabama. As a side note, if you have not tried their fried chicken, you are missing out. Their batter used at Publix is the best batter I have ever tasted on chicken.

Please beware!!! I have dealt with this location being higher than other location because it was on my way. I canceled a transaction on the card reader and the cashier somehow canceled me and processed the transaction anyway. She seemed surprised that I asked how it processed and even telling me, "no, you put your card back in" which I didn't. I then went to speak to the manager who goes on and on getting caught up in lies about maybe the tap picked up my card (in the card slot), or it was applepay (which I don't use), then said it wasn't my card because it wasn't a debit card on the receipt (which it was & mine). I've used these cards before and never had anything like this happen even with several different cards in my wallet. After I said I was calling my bank, the manager says the cashier overrode my cancelation. I told her since when can your cashier decide I can't cancel transactions and run my card after canceling. The manager continued talking in circles at which point I said sounds like you're scamming and I'm notifying my bank. So not only are they overpriced, they assume you don't pay attention and run your cards when you cancel transactions.

This is a pretty nice Publix. It is not the biggest one around, but the shelves were stocked very well for move-in at UA, and it was very clean.
