Took a while for service. Atmospheric felt like Chili's. The food was under-seasoned. The rice was nice but the beans needed more lard, and the pastor needed more everything. I can't try again. Too underwhelming to trust other menu items

We had a very good experience eating supper here while in Tuscaloosa on 6/29/2023. The service, food and the atmosphere was cozy.

Had lunch here today with a group of ladies from church. The food was good and so was the service. Lots of things on the menu. Their grilled chicken and shrimp lunch specials were really good.

Food was served fast and hot. Atmosphere was busy, yet server did a nice job. Great drinks and appetizers!!!

We had a large group setting. And the location is ideal. Not crowded. And the food and service were good. I had the gumbo which was different from regular gumbo but turned out to be extremely good. Portions were large. Everyone seemed to be pleased with what they got. Would highly recommend.

The food was amazing, but our waiter was over the top amazing! Cairo went above and beyond to ensure our food was exactly as we wanted it, kept our drinks filled, gave us to go beverages, and was extremely pleasant and kind. We will absolutely be back, the food was great but Cairo cemented our patronage every time we visit Tuscaloosa!

This is my los tarasaco gumbo. That is how it arrived and the manager claims that is what it is supposed to look like. I have order this several times and it is usual covered in cheese. He refused to take it back saying I still have to pay for it. My son had a quesadilla that was salty and we received a $2 discount. We didn’t eat any of the food and paid $36.18 for food that wasn’t edible.

We were a party of two and were seated quickly. We ordered the Tarascos Nachos, amazing. My husband and I shared this and we still had left overs. It was amazing. Very friendly service, our waiter was nice and prompt. When we are in the area again, we will stop by again. Highly recommend.
