Had a wonderful dinner. Savanah our service was amazing. Clean and a lovely atmosphere.

Good staff. Friendly. Margaritas were different and not sure I liked them. Dinner was good, but steaks were overcooked. Prices were very reasonable. Four stars is the best I can do.

Every single time I go back to my hometown I make my first stop at Monarcas Restaurant. Most of the staff have been there since the beginning and everyone is so polite and constantly check on you. The food is awesome but when I go it's for one thing, the chimichanga. I have ordered this dish at other restaurants but hands down there's only one winner and it's Monarcas. I always have to carry part of it home because it's just so much. If you're ever in Troy, Al. Definitely stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I HAD PROBABLY THE BEST BURRITO HERE YET I'VE EVER HAD. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE BURRITO ACAPULCO. I'D DEFINITELY GET THIS AGAIN. CHIPS AND SALSA WERE GREAT TOO. THANK YOU...

Update 7/2023: Love the owners and both locations!

My boyfriend and I frequent Monarcas for lunch. I am from Tucson, AZ and i miss border town Mexican food SO MUCH. This restaurant is the closest I've been able to come to finding GOOD Mexican food and the quality can not be beat for the price of their lunch menu. I can't speak for everything in the menu, but the chimichanga Amiga and the king supreme burrito are delicious. The service is always good and the atmosphere is nice. I would give 6 stars if I could. :)
