My daughter treated me to dinner at B.Graves for my Birthday ????! I was pleasantly surprised that this gem is located in Troy, our waitress and service were exceptional, she had the sweetest disposition! the food was AMAZING literally cleaned our plates !! My steak was perfect and my daughter had salmon which came with an amazing garlic spinach, just awesome!!!
Very surprised when the bill came because it was less than $100 ???? all in all a really great dining experience and a wonderful birthday celebration ????

It took some time for our party to be seated and when we were the table was not was not guest ready. We promptly asked to be moved. The service was lackluster, she took our drink and food orders brought them to us and we maybe saw her once while eating and again when we asked her to bring the check.
Now the food was really good, the salmon and chicken dishes were very good.

Terrible customer service. Went for brunch, server was more interested in talking with her friends. 1 hour later asked her where our food was and if she could check the kitchen. Two orders of brunch burger, both overdone and one came out without the egg. Two orders of country breakfast - biscuit with gravy, egg, bacon and grits. Other tables came in after us, ordered the same thing and were out the door. Beautiful place that needs some training in the kitchen and front of the house. Would never return.

Enjoyed a phenomenal meal at B. Graves last week. Alex was our server. We had 12 in our party. His patience, attention to detail, food and drink recommendations and over all friendliness was what you would expect at a 5-star restaurant. I took his recommendation and got the pan seared Chilean Sea Bass. Each bite melted in my mouth and showed the love the chef has for his food. Alex also recommended the crab cakes which were better than anything I’ve had in Maryland. No old bay here. Every bite was an explosion of crab meat making it hard to only have one. This should be (but isn’t… yet) a Michelin rated restaurant. I can’t say enough about this restaurant, the staff and the environment. Thanks Alex! If in Troy again, I’ll be back.

To be perfectly honest, B Graves has some of the best, if not THE best steaks in Troy. HOWEVER, for almost $30 for JUST the steak (no sides!!) Not only should I recieve a perfect CUT of steak, I should also recieve a steak COOKED to perfection. We ordered a medium ribeye and filet. Both steak were medium well - well toward the outside. The filet is also very small.
Sides are $4-$6 more (each) and the mac and cheese is very pretty, but not very good, very oily and kind of gritty.
Also, there's brick mortar ALL over the ledge that is along the wall where the tables are. I don't want brick dust (and God knows what else) that close to my food.
Our server allowed my drink to empty a couple different times and although polite, not particularly helpful.
We spent $100 for 2 people and didn't leave completely satisfied. I would expect them to have higher standards for the prices they charge. Overall, unfortunately, left disappointed.
*edited to add - NO ONE WAS WEARING MASKS, servers specifically. Tables weren't distanced. By the time we left, the restaurant was fairly full and everyone was definitely within 6 feet of one another.*

I’ve eaten here numerous times, while the food is good, each time it takes hours for the service to take your order and for you to get your food. Recently it took 40 minutes for me and the other people in my party to get our drinks. This place has so much potential, but is not equipped to handle numerous customers at once.
